Aaron Nemane signs on loan from Man City

Recommended Posts

I pretty sure that PC will be fully involved in the identification of potential targets - he will then leave it up to DoF to work on a deal & get the transfer done. Leaving PC to deal with footballing matters.

Exactly. The two are allowed to talk to each other ?

Certain loan moves have worked out well and been better performers. Dom Ball, Toral and Hyndman were all pretty key in the team. So lets hope the trend continues.

Obviously the Weiss rumour is nowhere near - no doubt my first choice of winger to come in.

I would rather we develop our own youngsters than other clubs'. These loan signings never seem to work out particularly well.

Yes it will give you reason to moan on how our academy players are rubbish. with you Rangers are on a no win scenario.

Is he English?

At 19 he'll need patience from our support, 19 year old wingers tend to be inconsistent. We need a wide player and if Walker is joining in January or next summer then it makes sense. Be interesting to see what he's like.

if the D of F is signing players things don't look good for Pedro.

They can work together though.

Pedro tells Allen that he needs a pacy, direct left winger

Allen looks at viable options, recommends Nemane

Pedro takes a look at the footage of Nemane (every player has a video bio these days) and says "Yes please".

That isn't quite the same as "the DoF signing players".

That's the way it's supposed to work :).

Bit of a strange one this. From the footage, he plays in a similar style to Atakayi, the young lad we got from Finland, very pacy and direct. If Nemane is going to be in the development squad, this would then presumably be at Atakayi's expense. As has often been asked, why would we provide exposure to another club's player at the expense of our own?

It would make more sense that Nemane comes into the first team environment, but perhaps they are playing down expectations. You have to believe that Mark Allen saw a lot of him and believes that he could go further in the game.
