Ongoing new manager discussion and speculation

Recommended Posts

Derek McInnes may or may not become the next manager of Rangers but he's clearly one of the favourites to do so. With that in mind, is it entirely in the best interests of Rangers to be promoting quite so much negativity at this stage, before he or anyone else has even started the job? Or is doom-mongering the new Rangers tradition?

Accepting nothing other than being the very best we can be is the Rangers way.

Accepting medricrity and the stripping of our winning mentality is not the Rangers way.

Being blind to consequences of our actions is not the Rangers way either.

Can a admin take a look at the edit function it's not been working for days. It just deletes the message

I cannot believe that McInnes does not have a winning mentality. Do you honestly believe he goes on to the pitch hoping not to win. When or if he comes to Rangers he will be coming because he thinks he is bettering himself and he thinks he can better Rangers. Aberdeen's budget against that of Ceptic was large and logically he could not get them better than second place. last season Rangers had a bigger budget than them and he still managed to have a better team than Rangers.

What has McInnes achieved in football to suggest he has the necessary ability to manage a club of our size? Finishing second in one of the worst leagues in Europe, which has only one half decent team, means nothing.

As much or more than Bill Struth, Scot Symon, Jock Wallace, Graeme Souness, Walter Smith, or Alex McLeish? Still, what did they ever achieve eh?

Stuart McCall anyone? I'd have him.............as a player

https://www.footballinsider247.com/former-rangers-boss-considered-shock-return-to-ibrox-report/

Stuart McCall has been lined-up for a return to the Rangers hot seat if Derek McInnes cannot be tempted away from Aberdeen.

According to The Scotsman, McCall is ‘the back-up option’ if Rangers are unable to agree a deal with the Pittodrie side.

This report is "By John Reid". I increasingly find that daily reality seems to be trolling us....

Thankfully this has all went quiet , and the press have no idea who the new manager will be , this was to be expected after the initial frenzy , hopefully we get a few weeks of calm deliberate In depth discussion by our football board and get this right .

I know what he didn't win; any matches against Celtic, a League Cup semi final against Motherwell, and a qualifying round 1 Europa League stage against Progres. You can start the 'bring back Pedro' campaign if you want mate.
Your not reading and comprehending at a high school level yet are you.

Nice try
