With that in mind, is it entirely in the best interests of Rangers to be promoting quite so much negativity at this stage, before he or anyone else has even started the job? Or is doom-mongering the new Rangers tradition? Accepting nothing other than being the very best we can be is the Rangers way. Accepting medricrity and the stripping of our winning mentality is not the Rangers way. I cannot believe that McInnes does not have a winning mentality. Do you honestly believe he goes on to the pitch hoping not to win. When or if he comes to Rangers he will be coming because he thinks he is bettering himself and he thinks he can better Rangers. Finishing second in one of the worst leagues in Europe, which has only one half decent team, means nothing. As much or more than Bill Struth, Scot Symon, Jock Wallace, Graeme Souness, Walter Smith, or Alex McLeish?
