Danny Wilson move to Colorado Rapids confirmed

Not a seismic disturbance, if he departs.

If he is offered better terms, and if he sees an opportunity for a better lifestyle, then, really, who are we to criticise him?

Of course, maybe he just likes guns.

Apparently he's having a medical with Colorado Rapids and wanted £22k a week from us.

Bye Danny. You won't be given a 3rd chance.

Still disappointing for Rangers to lose a first team starter for nothing when we're in the financial condition we are. At 26 and playing well he could have at least fetched 500k with a year or two on his contract. Disappointing on that front, but it sounds like it was 100% his fault so no need to dwell on it.

Main thing is to get David Bates tied down, hopefully this gives him some encouragement to do that because he should be starting alongside Martin now. There's a potential McRorie-Bates home grown long term partnership there. If those two fulfill their potential that would be fantastic for the club.

If he's wanting that kind of money he wouldn't touch the floor on the way out for me.

I like Wilson, and I'd like to keep him, but not if he's wanting more money -- small increase aside. His career is finished if he leaves us.

Apparently his wife is American which likely explains the choice of location.

Whilst I'd prefer to keep him, I wouldn't be playing him the money he's rumoured to be after.  Especially with his consistency and injury track records.

Hopefully we can at least get a nominal fee in the door for him.

22k a week ?  I hope part of his medical isn't a drugs test !
