Isn't the proposed issue a rights issue for selected existing shareholders enabling purchase of future share issues shares at a discount.

Isn't a NOMAD and all that goes with it required for any public offering ?

NOMAD's are only required for companies on the AIM market, we are not on the AIM market we do not need a NOMAD, so find another stick with which to beat King.

6 million won't even cover working capital through next season.  We need a much larger injection that that.  Definitely would have been better saying nothing.

£6M raised from existing/selected sh/holders; not all extant debt converted to equity.

Is there anything else?

Even takng STs, player sales, merchandising, etc. given the running costs, there doesn't look like a substantial kitty.

How did the Board get SG to agree?

Agreed.

On the surface of things this looks pointless but Dave doesn't do things without having a reason.

For all we know he is speaking figuratively.

He said no discussions on finance took place with steven.

Why would a guy who has never managed a club and not received an offer from as big a club as ours need to know about money to convince him? Was just usual culprits putting two and two together then kidding on they have knowledge from the club

Decision to hire Gerrard was done over ten days not four months as king said nothing indepth took place. As have been saying for a while king had full control of selection this time and he will cover whats needed to entice him.

This is what baffles me. We have had talk of an investment strategy and Park leading it and we have talk of major infrastructure stadium investment for 2022 and we need to fund SG but we are no nearer than we were a year ago to understanding how all that happens.

We can probably get to an operating level of break even but that that doesn’t deliver any of the stuff we really need to take the club upwards. Folk appreciate stabilising is the priority but we need to see tangible proof of more than that.

Not much point in commenting on warchest size until we see a fuller picture further down the line.

It's about spending what we have wisely and getting a lot more out of the assets currently employed.
