If we have fans that vote for people who clearly despise us, what chance do we have!?

Honestly, you could level that statement at any goup of voters, voting for any of the major political parties. If you believe that any group of politicians care about any of us, I feel sorry for you.

Despise us or care about us?

Not really the same thing.

Don't feel sorry for me.  Last thing I want is pity.  I am happy with what I am - a British Rangers supporter.

I'm afraid that it's you that's twisting words with that statement.  Just because someone votes YES doesn't mean they hate the UK.  People will vote YES for all sorts of reasons.

You always want to bring politics into football.  I wish you'd stop it.  It's counter productive and only segregates the support.  We are all Rangers fans.  Some of us will vote for parties that others don't like.  That's politics.  We all support Rangers.  That's football.  Let's not mix them up.

Some of us, shock horror, may even be republicans (which wouldn't mean you hate the Royal Family either).

The problem we have here is that we are totally vulnerable to media attack (again!) if the press deem ‘Twitter attacks’ as newsworthy.

We will be vulnerable to this while enough Rangers supporters continue to drop the F-bomb at the football.

You think your posts aren't insulting?  You think this post isn't insulting?  You've made no accusations?  I obviously don't get this humour then.  Having said that, if you're trying to be divisive, you've won.  Congratulations.

I don't know what that is, but if it's  another attempt at humour, you need to stick to the day job.  I think what's evident is that the only thing you and I have in common is the team we support.  I say this, not because our politics are different, but because we each have different standards in terms of the way we treat people.
