Then was hooked again shortly afterwards. He really is the most awful defender £25M can buy. I never thought he was that bad in previous games, but yesterday he was truly woeful: couldn't receive or hold a ball, couldn't pass or cross, and his defending was non-existent, merely jogging about. How a once mighty club have fallen if a defender who can’t defend and costs you the winning goal in the big derby match gets POTM.
