Olympique Marseille have big financial problems & were very fortunate to be allowed into this season’s CL groups stages after finishing second in ligue1.

I’d suspect they wouldn’t be allowed to buy Morelos from us as they fell foul of FFP. And I’d be surprised if we’d entertain a loan

If we're definitely selling him, the club will surely want a bundle of cash up front but you never know in football.

 

No point keeping a player who wants away on the wage bill.  If he's a success in France, he'll be worth more than he is now.

I’m taking anything from the record with a heavy dose of salt - most of our business is completely under wraps unless agents leak info.  And too many agents love to use our name to boost the profile of their client and stimulate other interest.

The original source seems to be a wee russian article which ended by saying we didn't actually follow it up. So even if that source is correct nothing is happening with it. Slow day at the DR.
