Why are new players playing in the same way as the players we got rid of? It must be coming from the old lags and the fact is, Beale is one of them. His return trip via Villa and QPR doesn’t seem to have done him any good. If you can play like Beckenbauer, you can stroll about like a lord. Otherwise you’ve got to run.
