In all seriousness, I think most voting for him to stay are really only trying to avoid a care-taker manager, and the inevitable multiple will-he / won't-he  rumours and protracted negotiations with potential appointments.

 

I'd like as smooth-as-possible a transition to a properly considered new gaffer.

It's torture but I still back this team and manager, the league and cups are still there to be won.

 

I just hope the toxicity in the support online doesn’t translate to the stands because if it has then Beale's doomed no matter what.

The board should have a list of possible managers at the ready at all times. Boards of football clubs most times wait too long to replace incompetent managers, these same guys would not give a poor manager in their companies the same treatment.
