That was just the tonic. Still imperfect at times but almost wholly dominant and some really nice play at times with a well deserved win. I really hope we can take some confidence from a fairly impressive win all things considered; even if Livi were very poor.

 

I thought it was a good team performance with various players doing their job much better than of late. Defence was solid, the midfield much more balanced and Sima was immense in attack which made a huge difference. Indeed, his improvement should be what other new (and existing) players can aim for over the coming weeks. Small acorns...

Much better but still not nearly clinical/incisive enough.

 

Cifuentes looks good at times and poor at others.  Lammers looks like this is a level above him.  I though Tav and Yilmaz worked hard and Sima had a decent game.

I thought Cifu was a lot better tonight. He's actually very good in tight situations and can find tricky passes - he just has to do things quicker at times and take a bit more care over his defensive duties.

 

Lammers is very much hot and cold. He really needs to improve his first touch though as it bounces off his far too often.

I think it's obvious to everyone that describes the whole team! they can all do much better. It's time they all reach a new level, which I think they all can.

Roofe has a groin issue but Yilmaz hopefully just cramp.

 

Manager seemed annoyed with Roofe who he things should have come off sooner.

If we could increase our tempo by 25%, take 2 passes instead of 5, get players turning on the ball, try something different at corners, make runs off the ball, be braver on the ball, be more clinical in front of goal, take more shots...we would be a tidy wee team. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
