I am dreading Martin getting the job. I can understand to some extent he appears to be less of a risk but I can't bear the thought of another Clement, playing the ball about at the back, wedded to a philosphy and stubbornly refusing to change it. I would prefer to take the risk with Angelotti.

His time as captain was up a few years back but the issue we had was no one was capable of replacing him. Not just as captain but in terms of availability, contribution and leadership. Until there is someone that matches Tav on the above attributes, then he'll remain. On reflection, Dessers matches the above, I'd give him the arm-band.

I think next season will be his last as he’s OOC at the end of next season. He might still be captain next season but I expect a RB to brought in who’ll play a significant number of games.

I think he's here until he retires. I don't have a problem with that.
