  1. You've obviously never been to @Scott7 's house.

  2. Come back and ask when the venue and timescale is known. Hypothetical gut feel, loss. It would be interesting to see if we could attract an attendance over the 50k mark at Murrayfield. Added logistics for many would make it a big ask IMO. We played Hearts there once. Anyone remember the attendance? Edit Was a Hearts home game Attendance 32,000 So they made extra cash that day to help cover the 4 matches (1 win) they played there in 2017 (work on a stand).

  4. We didn't deserve anything other than a ticket home. Clarke was far too negative tonight. Generally, our players just aren't good enough. What exactly does McPhee do as a set piece coach? They were pathetic.

  5. Commiserations lads. That ending was amusing though.

  6. Street? What street? Anyway, the mower is Ego battery powered. Quiet as a mouse. Had to give up my Hayter Briggs & Stratton after forty years. Now there was a noise. The mower was fine but a bit heavy for the enfeebled.

  7. Interesting to note that the Kop at St Andrews runs parallel to the pitch, i.e the main stand. One of the only stadiums I can think of in British football where the home ends on the sidelines!

  8. He’ll have to do a bit more than beat Hungary to rank with them. McLeod is usually scoffed at but he had a good record up to the match against Peru. He should have played Souness and Johnstone from the beginning, of course and then there was the ridiculous defeat at Hampden against Wales before setting off for Argentina. Wasn’t up to much, was he?

  9. Harry Kane is now publicly replying to pundits who criticised him 😂 "The bottom line is we haven't won anything as a nation for a long, long time and a lot of these players were part of that as well and they know how tough it is. So it is not digging anyone out, it is just the reality that they do know it is tough to play in these major tournaments and tough to play for England." Poor Harry ! But when it comes to winning nothing, you can't knock his track record.

  12. Johnstone was better than Henderson that season but overall I think Henderson was a more productive winger. He would beat a defender and know exactly what to do next. Johnstone would beat his man with ease and then while he was deciding what to do, beat another and go back and beat the first one again. Fabulous entertainment but by that time Henderson would have got the cross in to Millar. GOAL.

  13. Disagree. Both were what was called at the time 'pivots'. Each needed a free sweeper; nobody better than D. Smith who was so under-rated - I would rather have him than Clark.

  14. Murdoch and Grieg too alike for me in the centre; better balance with Auld. Maybe Greig in Smith's position? Also fancy having to choose between Henderson and Jinky.
