Signing a young(ish) player who has played 80 matches in Danish, or Finnish or even Scottish football strikes me as a better gamble than someone in Morocco or America. Raskin, Diomande, Jefte, Souttar and Barron have all settled and assimilated into the team far more quickly than Cifuentes, Igamane or James Sands. I think we also miss a trick picking up inexperienced players being released by big English sides. The fact you're not deemed good enough to get into the Man City or Liverpool first team squad is hardly a damning statement on your chance of being a success in the Scottish league. I know nothing about Finlay Curtis other than his name is appearing more and more frequently in B team reports. An attacking midfielder is something we've not had since Arfield left, at 18 he should be around the squad pushing for the bench. Chances of that happening seem remote unfortunately. A series of managers, including from countries where playing youngsters is expected, have overlooked our youths, read into that what you will.7 points

SteveCo Talks Sevco! The PQ Gang Hut began to assemble the firing squad a month past. After Rangers defeats at both Pittodrie and Rugby Park, the firing squad were ordered to load, make ready and fire. Obviously, the target was Rangers Gaffer, Philippe Clement and the national broadcaster justified their actions by citing Rangers supporters demands. The Belgian remains bound to the post but continues to breathe. The club Board have so far failed to deliver the inevitable for probably three reasons : 1. Clement has taken the club to their third successive national cup final. 2. Clement has guided the club to successive promising performances in the Europa League. 3. Clement achieved the provided brief ie moved players on, cut the wage bill substantially and, was rewarded with an improved contract. Impatience within the PQ Gang Hut is being tempered by concurrent activity. Anticipation levels are rising as the saliva runs down the chops of ra Sellik state of mind collective. Right across the national broadcaster's outlets - Sportsound, Sportscene, the View from the Terrace, Off the Ball, ........ etc; they have all sniggered whilst warning of an upcoming humiliation for Rangers in the League Cup final against Sellik. Rangers are funny and getting funnier reinforced by Craig Fowler's coup de main, "Rangers are hilarious". The laughing stocks are our confinement and the Gang Hut both encourages and rewards the continuous pelting of rotten fruit. Constant exposure is guaranteed if you chorus the issued narrative. Rangers supporters are stupid for accepting the situation and deserve ridicule. Providing regular supposed imagery is supplied because marginalisation makes it easier to hate. Step up to the microphone former Chair of Dundee United, Stephen Thompson. On Saturday, Tam Cowan introduced Uncle Fester and told us he would present an insight into the events of 2012. Ray Bradshaw wondered aloud as to why Stephen was blamed for Rangers demise? The chortle fest ran for two hours : Stephen told of his 'successful' ten year tenure at the Tayside club where integrity was the guiding force. Stephen told of being persuaded by his club's supporters to condemn Rangers to the fourth tier. Apparently they refused to purchase season tickets unless Dundee United voted us out. Stephen sided with sporting integrity. Stephen reminded us he served for five years on the SPL management Committee. Stephen wanted to ensure adherence to sporting integrity. Stephen reminded us he refused to enter the Ibrox Board room at the 2014 Scottish Cup semi-final, preferring to sit with his fellow fans because he felt threatened. Stephen maintained his integrity. Stephen told of a continuing threats and a wariness of west coast accents. He illustrated this by a recent visit to northern England where he was accosted and relieved when his questioner revealed he was a Yahoo, the meeting culminated with fist pumps. The entire bar applauded the displayed integrity. Stephen told of charging Rangers supporters again for a postponed game but not levelling the charge to his own supporters. Their is a real cost to sporting integrity and Rangers fans must pay it. Oh, and Stephen revealed he declared himself bankrupt recently. Now, is Stephen Thompson still Stephen Thompson? He wants to get back into the game and noted Rangers are looking for a Chief Executive. Is he a separate entity? Can Sevco employ SteveCo? Do we need to host a series of Sell Out Saturday events to raise the funds to provide protection to SteveCo? Is there any integrity to be found in these supposed episodes or is it just another PQ Gang Hut sponsored sniggerfest? Of course, PQ omitted the full integrity presentation because the facts are inconvenient to the pushed narrative : Stephen was launched from the family home by his then wife because of constant extramarital affairs. Stephen was hauled into court by one former mistress because he refused to pay maintenance for their child. Stephen was blackmailed by a teenage girl whom he met on a Sugar Daddy website. Stephen employed Jum Spence as his personal PRO. I suggest Stephen forms a double act with another Rangers hating bankrupt, Chris Sutton will bring some integrity to SteveCo and help secure the position of succeeding hosts to RAB Cosgrove and Tam Cowan.5 points

I have looked at the accounts. I've watched as we sold players for millions. I've watched as fans have bought season tickets and European Tickets for top dollar. I've watched as the fans have ploughed money into the club in various other avenues. As long as the club continues to make rhe wrong appointments (or no appointments in this boards case) we'll never move forward. We generate money, but we spend it unwisely (NEH, incorrect appointments, Copland debacle, court cases etc). Until the bowling club committee hand control to real football business people, we'll continue to p1ss what little money we have up a wall and continue to regress. The board want you to believe its difficult to turn around, it isnt, it's a matter of employing the correct people. Even as badly run as we are, we should be dominating all teams outwith Celtic - that's down to recruitment and coaching, which are other areas we sadly lack in.3 points

If we're going to move on then we need to ensure King isn't involved. That's just going to set us back. He did great for us, but we can't go back to 2015.2 points

You're right. It shouldn't be that difficult to get it right off the pitch. We're not a difficult business model to understand. Much of our income is known to an extent at the start of the season and likewise the costs. We need someone who is mentally strong, and perhaps not from the West of Scotland. It really shouldn't be difficult to get a capable chairman and CEO. They are out there.2 points

It would take time to turn the club around into a sustainable business. It will be DIFFICULT. Relatively heavy loss making is in with the bricks. Along with the strategic acumen of a badly run bowling club. Look at the boardroom Look at the accounts Look at the football department Look at the playing squad #omnishambles Expect pain, hope that it isn't acute or long term.2 points

That referee Coote has landed himself in it. What was he thinking saying that with a camera stuck in his face. I know there is hidden cameras like what happended with Allardyce but this phone is clearly in front of him and he even says that the video cant be let out. He wont ref again in the Premier League - considering there are already about 5 decisions involving Liverpool where he didnt give them the decision - the most blatant had to be Odegaards hand ball.2 points

We have been badly run for decades. We paid a price for that in 2012 but we didn't learn the lessons, despite saying we would. Not as a club or a support. We are paying a price for the latest decade of mismanagement. At last, John Bennett told us how it really is and what is needed. We seemed to reluctantly accept this but after a couple of months, it has been largely forgotten. The accounts seem to be dismissed and many fans want a new manager and new, better players in using monopoly money. Get real.2 points

I don't get this - we've not been successful for 14 years (other than 1 league title and 1 EL final). The fans have been more than patient. Are we now accepting that we aren't and won't be a successful club?2 points

I agree that the pressure should be applied to those upstairs, for many things. However, Clement has been backed - circa £10M for Diomande and Cortes, £1.7M for Igamane, £2M for Propper. We should never settle for "not challanging" domestically, we should be able beat "the rest" on a regular basis, no matter what "transition" we are in. Clement picks the team (weirdly he chooses players he didn't sign more often than not), he sets out the structure, style, fitness, tactics etc. We are in perpetual decline, some may say terminal decline on and off the pitch. Clement has to take blame for the on-field decline whilst Gilligan (et al) shoulder the blame for the off-field cluster-fcuk.2 points

We have a higher playing squad wage bill (or did have) - can’t defend that1 point

Look at the transfer fees they pay, compared to us. They use their income far better than we do. They are better ran than us, they are better coached than us. Its that simple.1 point

He still looks miles away from ready IMO. If we paid anywhere near 1.7 million for him its 1.7 million down the drain unless he dramatically improves. Looks very much a Moroccan league level player.1 point

Speaking about Derek Ferguson , I just seen an article about his son Lewis and one of his biggest hurts in football is being released by Rangers at 14 that gives him extra motivation to improve his game. I’m sad to say I think this is going to keep on happening time and time again ,I say we just give youngsters Curtis & others game time at least 10 mins when we are comfortably winning if that’s even a thing now. How many of Rangers youngsters have made it through the years to the team or how many have we let go who have gone on to have a successful career away from Ibrox?1 point

No I don't, but to say we wouldn't be able to afford him next season was a ridiculous thing to say. The guy is raw, has something about him but, in my opinion, at £1.7M, a gamble we shouldn't have taken in the summer. That money would have been better spent on a player (striker) who was experienced and ready to contribute from the start of the season. I remember Beale getting rightly slaughtered for say something similar about Cifuentes.1 point

Correct. What better time than now? Rangers aren’t winning the League this season. Nothing to lose. That’s how Durrant and Derek Ferguson came through.1 point
