Rangers were very good tonight and could easily have scored half a dozen. Enjoyed the game. C'mon The Gers4 points

For me, it's more important developing any promising youngsters. To convert what are essentially dead rubbers into 'must win' games would be to miss an excellent opportunity. The aim should be to establish if the likes of Nsiala, Rice, A.N Other? are good enough or not. No reason why we can't be competitive and win most games as well.3 points

Kelly Cates, Mark Chapman and Gabby Logan will be the new Match of the Day presenters from next season, the BBC has announced. They missed a trick by not signing up Emma Dodds- the best by far.2 points

Big Nsiala, Jefte or Hagi (I don't usually go for players who didn't finish the game, but his passing was football porn)2 points

That's the challenge. I might be wrong but if our away form mirrored our home, we'd be top of the league (imagine that).2 points

I don't like to toot my own horn but I did mention Aberdeen's xG being atrocious a few months back and that they were therefore due a bad run...2 points

So Clancy's imaginary 7mins injury time in a vain hope of Aberdeen getting an equaliser certainly backfired.2 points

Our xG was 3.43 tonight. A big improvement. I'd like to see it spread to our away games now.1 point

I told you that we'd finish second regardless. I was right and you were doom mongering.1 point

I'm hearing the UBs booing the 20-30,000 fans leaving before the final whistle tonight didn't go down too well. #irony.1 point

So we've seen Nsiala three times now and in no game he looked phased or the like, rather on the contrary. And tonight he even whipped in a fine cross for Balogun to score. Let's hope Pröpper, who hasn't been that bad either, isn't injured that badly. Game ... very much according to our dominance, even though we wasted too many chances once more. Alas, three points, two points closer to them too.1 point

Aberdeen are garbage. Might struggle to stay in the top 6. Nsiala’s performance goes to show, with no real title race on the cards giving the young boys a chance does no harm.1 point

That type of player, yes, but he doesn't have an end product. Hagi is better in that regard. Cortes is returning, too.1 point

Danilo has been relatively quiet, and was guilty of missing at least one good chance, but I think his link-up with Igamane looks really encouraging.1 point

I see our predictions are somewhat conservative, probably reflecting our low morale. Perhaps @Rousseau can devise a new metric (you know how loves a metric), xgnG for the average predicted score, thus measuring our state of mind.1 point

He might replace Dowell, but we could replace Dowell with a dead horse tbh. He's probably going to replace Lawrence who is out of contract at the end of the season.1 point

We are not in a position to talk about titles - or something similar from Clement. This season was always going to be a write-off - Rangers fans. Accepting failure and second best 👌1 point

The Blue Order never really made statements from memory. It is also worth remembering that TBO never had the numbers that The Union Bears have and were never as organised. I can think of one when Rangers sent the entire group letters about standing during games. The gist was if the standing continued, the club would ban the group. After one midweek game against DUFC (if I remember correctly) several members of the group received letters informing them they were banned from the next home match. Now, some of those banned weren't at the DUFC game, so it was obvious that the club had just selected random seats / people and banned them (not the entire group). So at the next game, those who "ran" TBO spoke to people in the group and said they would release a statement saying the above. The UBs are far more organised, they travel to away games, meet up and walk to the ground together. They also have / part of The Copland Collective which is used to get support and membership for the group. I would assume they talked about this statement whilst travelling back from Dundee and into Friday. Probably doesn't necessarily mean all members of UB agree, but shows another group of fans displeasure. The Union Bears will always split the support but having been part of The Blue Order (which was "older" fans wanting to bring back old Rangers songs) and witnessed first hand the "hostility" we faced from the club and fellow fans, I tend to cut them some slack. I thought their statement was a little "scatter-gun" as it mentioned manager, senior players and board, but I couldn't really disagree with anything they said. It's interesting that since Thursday night, the travelling fans at full-time, the RSA, fan media (who pay a lot of money to get access to players, managers press conferences) and now UBs have all made "statements" saying its time up. David Edgar reiterated this last night. Whilst they don't speak for the entire fanbase (nobody does), those mentioned above are a fairly good gauge of what the general support are thinking.1 point

I'm a tad suspicious of statements from fans groups and how the group as a whole have come to that decision. Perhaps @CammyF can help with his experience from the Blue Order (I'm not getting a dig, it's a serious question). It's times like this that I'm grateful for Gersnet - diverse opinions and (generally) civilised debate about Rangers. Nobody can accuse Gersnet of group think.1 point
