  1. I've written an open letter to the Gersnet Prediction League board Dear Chairman @Rousseau I have just received a fourth cease and desist request from your solicitors. For some reason you have suggested that I implied that you were being economical with the truth when you brought the prediction league to an early close. I refute this claim and wanted to put what I actually said on the record so there's no ambiguity. What I actually called you was a lying, deceitful, conniving, scum bucket of a moron who is so far up @BEARGER's backside. Everything you do is to help him win the league at all costs and I'm going to call on all my Masonic brothers to see that you not only lose your job, but that you never find another position in Scotland. And for the avoidance of doubt, if I can't get the support of my fellow Gersnetters to get my inquiry next week, I'm going to stop liking their posts. They don't deserve my blue thumbs up, and let's see how they all survive without them. Screw you all. No one likes me, and I don't make care. I am the people. Get it right up ye ya corrupt bassas @Gaffer

  3. These clubs don’t have the money. That’s what the SPFL game plan has been all along I.e. deprive them of their payments unless they toe the SPFL party line

  4. Well, that was a read and a half. They have went to town and even more quite dramatic than the relegated Partick. We need some more

  5. I hope the failed trialist continues to double down at each subsequent turn of this process. His reputation, such as it is, will disintegrate along with Doncaster et al.

  6. Hopefully not. Selection process needs to be transparent. No Nolan Partners

  7. Doncaster is in his position by virtue of Celtic's patronage and sufferance. He will stay until he's told to go and he will go when he's told. This entire affair looks like coming apart in Peter Lawwell's hands and can only be contained by avoiding an independent investigation. Therefore, Doncaster may well be sacrificed on the condition there is no investigation and to keep the Celtic name in the clear. Celtic may well succeed in this but it looks like Rangers have enough to force the issue in court or at least to destroy the cabal Lawwell has worked so long to establish.

  8. We shouldn't forget Chick Dungs performance this afternoon - the classic ; "how can it be an independent investigation if Rangers are paying for it"......

  9. Graham Spiers & co will be frantically trying to uncover something linking ICT board members to the OO. ?

  10. Now that we have offered to pay for one, I'll be viewing any clubs who don't support an independent investigation with suspicion.

  11. The Irish Consulate is particularly sensitive to the crying of the daughter of a member of Donegal Mountain Rescue. Some of the Usernames in the current Gersnet Prediction League are clearly triumphalistic references to the subjugation of the Irish peoples. Jum Spence has utilised his Dundee Courier column to demand certain posters be prosecuted for bringing the game into disrepute. Jum knows all about the law an'at, because he taught law an'at at the local Tech' College. There is a clear correlation between Williamite names(including derivations) and distress caused in Donegal children. The League title will be awarded to the Username showing the most contrition.

  12. https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/interim-chairman-douglas-park-qa This is a link to a transcript Douglas Park's Q+ A with the gentlemen of the Sunday press. An interesting read, with some pithy responses. The issue of future viability is not addressed, presumably because was not raised, being less of a 'story' than the current imbroglio. Qs 20 + 21 might be of some relevance

  15. Agreed. They need rooting out, but that is a big task. I don't know who/how/why people are selected for these positions but all clubs need to be involved in the selection as opposed to Separate Entity FC hand picking placemen.

  16. Quotes from Kenny Dalgliesh in today's Sunday Post "We’re almost two months into football’s lockdown and still we have no sense of direction from the SPFL.The governing body’s hierarchy has been unable – or even incapable – of preventing bitter in-fighting to take over the Scottish game, with no end to the rancour in sight. The biggest headlines have come from their war of words with Rangers. This is something that may well have been festering since 2012, the year the Ibrox club was put down the leagues and told to start again. That move really knocked Rangers for six, and it was four years before they made it back to the top flight. The club has kicked on since, and has made big strides on and off the park, with the appointment of Steven Gerrard as manager being the most significant move of all. But they still have a long way to go.""The 200-page Ibrox report may well have lacked something really explosive, but it raised matters that need to be addressed and looked at closely. For this to be passed, it requires 75 per cent of the SPFL clubs to vote in favour. It is down to them to cast their vote, based both on the Rangers dossier and their own personal experiences. That’s why I found it a bit strange that the SPFL should be so dismissive, so quickly, of the report. Was it really their place to do that before the votes had been cast?Overall, it has been extremely unpleasant. It is still a mess. Indeed, it is totally toxic."

  17. Funny how SPFL were quick to release a statement in response to Rangers, yet nothing from them in response to ICTFC!

  21. I fully expect that Doncaster will step down if, and only if, he simultaneously trousers a large wedge of hush money. The interesting question is who -in current circumstance- will approve a substantial disbursement to a clown who is leaving because of his failures in corporate governance, knowledge of which is in the public domain (due at least in part to his actions) to ensure that he keeps quiet about said failures?

  23. IMHO, even if broadcasters will not demand any money back, the very fact that this possibility wasn't mentioned in the voted-on SPFL proposal is worthy of an investigation .... or indeed a walk to the chop-block for those responsible.

  24. I listened to most of the show yesterday and worth listening to for 3 reasons; 1. Failed trialist getting schooled on law. 2. Maitland admitting he doesn't know what Doncaster does. 3. Kelty and Bora reps reaction to the SPFL pulling out of pyramid play-off and the "pressure" applied to them by SPFL.

  25. I think this answer nicely sums up the press reaction to the dossier: "It’s telling that people with a legal background and those with experience in governance and regulated industries view the issues raised more seriously than others are prepared to.".

  26. I know we're of like mind in this respect and I find myself thinking that there's plenty of credible business experience on the Rangers board to realise the same thing. Might it be therefore that either cost cutting is already planned in and/or some means has been secured to cover costs for at least a period? You know my inclination is to cut costs first and ask questions later but it's also the case that precipitate cost cutting could quickly undo every bit of progress over the last couple of years. So perhaps there's some understandable and practical sense in delaying and minimising the damage that cost cutting could do. Not my way of doing things but I'm not running Rangers and I'm certainly not privy to what I imagine has been a period of considerable background activity on the investor front recently.

  27. This is all heating up nicely and we are in a strong position to get the outcome we want, but I do hope our board is also working on a plan as to how we will survive this season. I remain concerned about the lack of apparent cost cutting I'd hope to see under the circumstances. If we cannot return to capacity crowds, how many of our season ticket holders will seek refunds, and what will that do to the stability of our finances? The board is performing well at the moment in other matters but I want to see some action in this regard also.

  28. There is another aspect to this, on which I continue to speculate wildly.... If SPFLLtd is likely to be subject to claims from SKY, BT, et alia. you might expect it to attempt mitigate losses caused by circumstances outwith its control. It would do this by using its 'most reasonable endeavours' in these circumstances, to see the season through to completion. This would likely be a contractual requirement, whether there was a watertight Armageddon Clause or not, and it would be prudent, anyway, to enter any negotiation thus fortified. What one would not expect is a full tilt rush to declare the season over, without any 'reasonable' attempt to finish it. Is a potential claim of £10M or thereby a small price for the member clubs (shareholders and stakeholders) to pay for the greater glory of one club and its requirement for the first and only dibs at CL monies? Mauvaise foi, mes amis, mauvaise foi.

  29. I think we should just play the games on fifa or summit. Seen as well i didnt even play this season, but despite not being a member, i still will be enforcing my superiority of having admin rights and will just keep deleting any threads that say other than Blueflag won. Scottish democracy
