  1. Didnt realise they had cameras back then Cammy  :fish:
  2. Hilarious !!!
  3. You can be pretty sure that this story hasn't run its course yet though. There is little to no reason why BF and AM should keep their mouths shut on this, other than to cover for the other players involved.
  4. Sorry then ! I still can't see it as a blessing to have any player out that when we are already missing players. The options up front are not good so I still fail to see it as a blessing. Surely better to have options ? Hopefully Novo and Boyd suffer neither injury nor suspension or we could really be up shit creek...... and we are close to that anyway !
  5. Fergie & the Shagger already did this last Sunday......
  6. Regardless of whether you like him as a player the reality is that, aside from Boyd and Novo, what other proper options do we have ? Velicka ? Naismith ? Boyd has been very much off the pace recently, Novo is just back from an injury and, in fact, injured himself again on Sunday, Velicka looks pish and Naismith is also just back from injury and not playing well, albeit in a wide position. So what happens if Boyd or Novo get injured or suspended ? Would you REALLY prefer Velicka or Naismith to Miller ? Add to that the fact that Velicka and Boyd are very similar...... if it is Novo that goes out would you really want a front pairing of Boyd and Velicka ? I don't get this attitude sometimes. Surely we want the WHOLE squad to be fit to give the manager a full compliment to choose from, or even give him options from the bench. Miller is a better option than Velicka IMO so yes it could be detrimental to our league chances.
  7. Here we go............
  8. Not when you are playing in the pro leagues you don't. gisabeer, I am not sure I would blame Smith's tactics though. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Last season there was nothing but complaints about the 4-5-1 formation. So what did he do ? He changed it to a 4-4-2 formation, which everyone was screaming for. Now we have everyone blaming his tactics but I am pretty sure he isnt requesting his team to lump high balls up the park all the time. In fact, watch his post-match interview and he stresses how poor Rangers were at getting the ball down and how poor they were in possession and how poor they were in giving the ball away. Unless he is flat out lying (which I doubt) then he didn't want high balls pumped into the box. At times you have to question the PLAYERS, not the manager. On Sunday we had far too many players who seemed happy enough to hide and contribute next to nothing. The Manager can only try to combat that pre-match and at half-time - once on the pitch he can only scream instructions but can't force them into changing their attitude.
  9. Welcome aboard Bearger
  10. If he was... and if yesterday was anything to go by.... we should snap him up ASAP. What a finish - 17 years old and his turn and shot looked like something you would expect of an experienced pro, not a young kid.
  11. It is hard to lend any credibility to stories like this when they can't get some of their facts correct. BF and AM did not go on a boozing session in Amsterdam, it was at Cameron House. Regardless of whether anyone is pro or anti-BF if the figure is correct (which I doubt) then we should be accepting it. 3 mill is a decent fee for BF and one that we should be accepting. That said I don't know why any club would offer such an amount when he has been a) stripped of our capaincy b) suspended by the club c) heading into the final year of his contract anf d) is obviously wanted out by the club. A fee of 1 mill would probably see us bite their hand off.
  12. But you aren't renewing
  13. Take the money you would pay for the future two seasons, put it in a Certificate of Deposit at 3% and, after two years, you have more than your discount. You would, however, have to pay year 2 from other funds - If you split the CD into two you could take half the funds out at end of year 1 to pay year 2 if you liked.
  14. Yep, McCann was a real throw back and we could be doing with him out there just now. Also showed how to get the ball in the box. As for us, we were very poor. Sad day when our best lpayers against Falkirk would be our two CB's. In fact, Bougherra was almost our most influential ATTACKING player......
  15. Seems he doesnt have the money for legal fees though. Whip round ?
  16. Macheda's goal was a cracker. Great turn and a fantastic finish.
  17. Alexander is a better keeper
  18. But if we were to believe Bougherra's words then he doesnt want to leave anyway. I am inclined to believe him. The issue of whether Bougherra stays or goes is not his, but SDM and Bain - who no doubt will want the money we will get from a big money offer.
  19. ma hair is broon..... Hey, he played for the Goons and England so must be famous..... AND he is a ginger........
  20. Fair enough. Very unfortunate for us though is that it is at such a critical stage of the season !

  23. She does indeed. Actually the wife's boss is her next door neighbour. A couple of years ago on Boxing Day the wife's boss got a call from "Michael" and asked if they fancied going over for a wee party they were having. She was astounded it was Michael Douglas. But off they went and apparently had a great time and Catherine even sang a few songs. I was on the same flight as her last year and she left the airport right in front of me but I didn't notice..... and my hairdresser is also her hairdresser. Every now and then you see them out for a meal or in the pubs and I have a friend that saw them in the supermarket the other week. Apparently very down to earth people and very friendly. Next time I get good snaps of her I will post a couple. There are a few famous people that live out here - Silvio Berlusconi, Ross Perot, Mike Bloomberg, Nick Faldo was here for a while - have also seen Ray Parlour, Dwight Yorke, Beckham, Latapy etc etc.
  24. Johnny & Gav, I agree whole-heartedly. They were naive if they thought that flicking the v's would be simply ignored. Never going to happen, especially as the antics of Sunday morning were still so fresh. And if they felt they could "hide" it then even more shame on them as they should have known that all media eyes were on them. As I say, I don't condone their actions - but I also think that the subsequent press coverage has been nothing short of a lynching mob. FFS, the country is in the SHITTER, our longest serving financial institutions are being bailed out and nationalised - yet flicking the v's whilst sitting on the bench for your country all of a sudden is front page news. To me it is a world gone crazy. Front page news today could easily be that the G20 agreed to $1 trillion in funding for 3rd world countries - not in Scotland though - lets sensationalise the actions of two players who made very ill-advised gestures.
  25. Exactly. The funny thing is that, as soon as I put it to them that there is an anti-Rangers element in the TA, they believe that it is conspiracy theory from huns...... Bugs my tits so it does.
