25 minutes, right ? I am a numbers person though so it is a quicker process for me than some, I grant you that. That said, if I got home at 14:10 with a KO of 12:45 I likely wouldnt bother watching the rest of the game

Great read as usual Cammy. I also like your idea on how to bring the media to task. Sadly we have a Chairman and a CEO who either don't care or who don't have the fortitude to realise that this would actually improve their image with the fanbase and, possibly, be a lightning rod to getting us back to parity in the whole sectarianism debate.

You not been around here at Xmas ? Seems to be an annual occurrence for us.....
-
I cant see Celtic doing it and us sitting idly by watching. As you say alan, great 1st team experience, but I would still probably rather see the best of the crop going out on loan to 1st division teams as the standard of play would be better.

Was a collision with Lovenkrands, right ? How about that Nolan tackle ? Worst tackle I have seen all year.

Bitter, bitter arsehole. Apparently his claim to fame is clattering Novo.... and yet look whose career seems to have blossomed.

Where you getting that stat from johhny ? Boyd has scored 24 whilst McDonald has scored 13 and Samaras has scored 14 apparently.

I personally enjoyed "mellllllttttttdooooowwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnn" because it truly encapsulated their support this evening !!

credit to offshorebear for risking disease even being over there.

I am sure they would say that on a better pitch they would have played better football and dominated and won. What he is forgetting is that Motherwell play some neat football too and the pitch probably didnt suit them either.

Cheers for that Cal. Sorry guys, should have said it was the Celtic goal !
-
To be fair, if we dont get a result there when we play then we will be making the same excuses I would think. Havent seen it but when a goal is scored because the ball bobbles over the keeper's leg that is a lottery.

Just messing man. You are right though, I always work out the start of the 2nd half by when the 1st half KO'd.
-
Yep, and IMO it isnt that he doesnt have the ability - he somehow seems to be lacking the desire and that is unacceptable in a captain. I dont need a captain that is screaming at his players to up their level but I would expect a captain to give his all and to lead by example - currently he isnt doing that.

What formation did the Tims have today ? They had 2 full backs, 3 centre halves and 3 strikers. Did they go 4-3-3 with a midfield trio of Caldwell, Brown and Nakamura?
-
Yeah, would be a whole lot harder to work out that the 2nd half kicks off at 4.05 instead of 4pm huh (assuming a 3pm KO)? :fish:

I would start out 4-4-2 to see if Fleck and Aaron can handle the physicality. If they can't then yes we would need someone else in there. If they can track back and assist the full backs when we dont have the ball (Fleck has already shown he is willing to do that) then I see no reason to go with a 4-4-2

The strange thing for me is not so much whether we are pro or anti-Boyd. I may be in the minority but when I look at our team each week I honestly look at XI players that should be dominating the other teams, including Celtic. With Fleck playing wide left and Davis wide right and with Fergie & Mendes in the middle there really is no reason why we shouldn't be dominating, no matter who we play up front. The defence seems to be back to its stingy self and we really should have enough forward thinking players to turn the screw on teams. What it looks like to me is that there is either a lack of application, determination and/or a will to win. In that regard I think we are missing Kevin Thomson as it is him, for me, that seems to drive the team on and actually gets players doing more for the cause - similar to the way wee Stuart McCall used to do it. McCall, without balling and screaming, would urge his players to up their game simply with the energy he showed in his own game. Right now, we dont have that driving force in the engine room - Ferguson should be that player but he seems to have lost the will to influence games.

Rangers 3 : 1 Kilmarnock - Player Ratings and MoM Poll

Funny you mention Cuellar when rating Bougherra. I watched the Villa game today and, even though it was Chelsea, I thought Cuellar looked quite poor in that game. Yes, he was played out of position but he looked very uncomortable to me. -

I am not convinced our first goal should have stood. Looked to me like Mendes took the corner and the ball wasn't in the corner quadrant. -
I thought it first came in to lessen the number of games - except it increased the games by 2 !!!!

Dont make the journey Jon, Gav will make up some BS excuse not to show up, right Gav ? :fish:
