    Your call.

I thought it was a foul when I first saw it to be fair, but my picture wasnt the greatest. I think we are arguing semantics my man. He did play for the foul that is for sure - there was contact but it was pre-meditated by him. It left a bit of a sour taste in the mouth, especially when he was immense all day. I thought he had probably his best game in a Gers shirt yesterday. He is maturing beyond his age and, on yesterday's showing, he looked a better player than Scott Brown by a country mile. It is only a matter of time before he is capped - he plays the Hartley role for us and I reckon he would do a better job at international level too.
  2. CONGRATULATIONS my man ! That is a great move though, money for nothing - you should have doubled them with the Gers and made 1200 :fish:
  3. Voodoo no worky is CLASSIC !!!

If it is pre-meditated to "look for the foul" then he dived, either that or we are just playing with semantics. I think you are blinded if you think he "left his leg making contact" - if he moved the way his body would have naturally then he would never have made contact with Samaras - look at it again, he changes the direction of his leg in order to make contact with Samaras, and that makes it a dive. Ultimately he tried to con the ref into giving a foul, that is simulation. Laudrup doing it doesn't make it OK either.
  5. Nice win S_A - quite the bet there, although 4/5 for Pompey yesterday looked like a steal !!
  6. Thomson was a stick on MOTM for me. He did everything well - broke play up, neat little passes, tackling like a terrier, great goal, work rate superb. Cuellar, Weir, BF and Dailly had fine games too. But there really were NO failures today as Cammy said.
  7. Fair do's, havent seen it. But a "Pool fan" supporting Man U is unheard of. Much like your sexuality I just thought you were confused.

You have to love it - they have the conspiracy theories BEFORE the game, DURING the game and AFTER the game. They never lose fair and square. Typical Tims and exactly why I cnat stand them as a support. They were the better team first half and we were by far the better team second half.... But if they think that Stuart Dougal was biased towards Rangers they should have been watching the game with me - because I felt that Dougal gave them everything !!!! (Broon pen aside, but he stayed on his feet so had the chance to score...)

eejits ! What a bunch of plebs. Given what we have suffered from the SPL and UEFA do they honestly think that the OFFICIAL pre-match tunes would be remotely sectarian. You couldnt buy that lot an IQ !
  11. do you support Man U or Liverpool ? You change your teams more than you change your underwear (which wouldnt be hard...)
  12. dont be so bitter Jon.... just you worry about Liverpool's chase for the last CL place !!
  13. great result especially as they were down to 10 men for so long !!
  14. MIne was that Boruc pass....OR.... wee Nacho booting Boruc in a 50:50
  15. How do you work that out when Sunderland and Reading are both drawing ?
  16. Wait till we have played 38 games and hopefully we are in the same position...... BUt yes, this is a position none of us could have dreamed of at the start of the season !
  17. You have a few beers for me too then Pete !
  18. I think you might be dead ya old fart...... Have a beer, it gives you ice cold nerves....
  19. Me ? Nah, I will be supporting Mike from the confines of my sofa ! I think he is doing it because he is mental (in a good way) but also trying to gain some cash for charity at the same time...
  20. If you can't go Mike you should auction them for your MdS marathon !
  21. Indeed I do - I just happen to think that if you have a very competent keeper that the defence exude confidence knowing the man behind them will more often than not prevent the loss of goal if they mess up. That confidence then seeps its way into the midfield and attack. You dont lose goals you dont lose games - and it is no coincidence that the 9IAR came about on the strength of performances from one of the clubs greatest ever keepers.
  22. No need for embarassment my man. Good for you for being so diligent. You will enter the workforce and make an employer very happy !
  23. What is there to disagree about if the national team doctor told them to withdraw ??
  24. They will probably still make it, the injuries that keep players out of internations aren't usually serious enough to keep them out of club games....
  25. Has to be your shortest post ever I agree though, don't care for fantasy or reality here, a win will do me no matter how achieved. If we were going for fantasy then I would love all of our players to score..... or a 1-0 win would be fine with a McGregor kick out beating Boruc due to some shocking keeping from the holy goalie.
