Great piece Stewarty. Puts an unbiased view of the transfer window for both teams. Celtic really have only signed Hinkel and, possibly, Samaras if you look at starters (Mizuno and HUtchison wont get many starts and even Samaras will be fighting with McDonald and JVH for a start). To be fair we have done pretty much the same, although Steven Davis will hopefully be a step up from Charlie Adam whilst Thomson is out injured.

It all comes down to what would happen if it was allowed back in. If it came back then it is possible the Fen*** words come back in. However, I think we have self-policed other songs very very well that had those same references in them. I just dont see it happening anytime soon, partly because it is still "topical" and partly because without it there is less chance of UEFA sanction. I do see your point though Gribz, IF, and it is a big if, the proper words could be sang then there should be no reason why it was allowed back in.

Rangers 2-1 Leeds I was behind the press gantry in the main stand that night and the whole stand was rocking. When McAllister hit that screamer in the first minute the whole stadium was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop. Step up John Lukic to punch a Durranty corner into his own net. That is one thing that maybe hasn't been pi9cked up on which is how does Hutton's move affect morale with the players who are left ? To see your best players leave can't send the right signals regarding ambition.

so he will be getting about 25k a week for 4 years. I hope he is decent if we are paying that sort of money on wages because if he is shite then we would have a player that won't move due to his wages. We should have wage structures more performance based these days anyway. 2.5 mill for the transfer fee I don't think is too bad. How does purchasing a co-owned player work ? He is co-owned by Palermo.

Now, I wasn't saying that I thought McGregor was worth 6 or 7 million juffers.... was just running a scenario - I reckon we would accept 4 mill for McGregor, maybe even less. Is the offer still open though ? Just as long as I dont mention it to the wife I will be OK, right ? I will be over in the summer anyway, so keep the flight money and buy the beers !

McGregor not far off Gordon.... Gordon went for 9 mill... McGregor (if teams also believe he is not far off Gordon) would be worth what, 6 or 7 mill ? Maybe we have been sounded out about selling McGregor in the summer and we all know that 6 or 7 mill would be "too good an offer to turn down for a goalkeeper". Or am I just being too cynical ?
