  1. I'd hoped that Morelos was going to take the one on Thursday and was dismayed when he threw the ball to Tav. Tav has lost confidence and it should be Alfie taking them now.
  2. Would be even funnier if it wasn't a parody account.
  3. The ref allowed the players to join in the applause for 15-20 seconds and I think he even joined in briefly. I thought the ref was great in that respect and that was all that was required at that point.
  4. Match winner, mate ?
  5. Barasic and Jack were great but have to go with Morelos who dominated their defence.
  6. I'd be very surprised if he did. Ojo has played in Europe before and it'll be him and Arfield up front with Alfie. I doubt that Gerrard will throw Barker into his first start in such a big game,
  7. Did Rangers go into administration? Most people would say yes to that because the company went into administration. Would you say to someone who says it that they are spouting "stereotypical rubbish"? If Rangers get a bank loan do you differentiate between the club and the company? When Rangers' accounts are produced, is it wrong to say that, or do you differentiate between Rangers the club and Rangers the company? The company went into liquidation. It's part of our history, but it factually happened. If you want to start differentiating between the club and the company because it suits the narrative then fine but it's not unreasonable for others to do so and it's not "stereotypical rubbish". It/we went into liquidation but that's all. it didn't mean the end of it or that we're a new club. We were still a club before 1899 when oldco was formed and we're still the same club after oldco went into liquidation and it doesn't take away from the fact that Rangers went into liquidation.
  8. Is Jack definitely available?
  9. Very sad news.
  10. It was being run relatively successfully under Ian Armstrong and Sylvia but when Armstrong 'left', the new guy just wasn't as good at getting a crowd in and I think people's tastes were changing and the use of the club fell away.
  11. There's 26 guaranteed competitive home this season (19 league + 7 European) and we've had 6 already, so there's still 77% of games to go. 77% of £1060 is £816. Yes, there may (or may not) be some domestic cup games, but £1,000 seems very steep.
  12. one of the current score apps had Stewart out injured, although I hadn't heard anything.
  13. He's far from gash and looks a lot better than Hastie has in his games.
  14. I understand Young Boys may open the away fans section in their ground for any bears who have got home end tickets. ?
  15. The piper on the pitch at the start of the game obviously didn't get the memo about which songs aren't allowed in Ibrox ? The directors' box should be closed for the next game. ?
  16. The new shareholders have presumably agreed not to. The old/minority shareholders would struggle due to lack of information which nobody would disclose. In addition cost would come into it. If you own 1,000 shares, the perceived loss would presumably be under £500, and the cost of legal action would far exceed this.
  17. There would need to be a complaint from the company but I reckon that part of the change in ownership involved a guarantee that there would be no subsequent complaints about unfit conduct as a director.
  18. Clarke's cunning plan to play Ryan Jack at right back was thwarted by his injury and no doubt was a major factor in pour humiliating defeat. ?
  19. As I mentioned on another thread, my understanding is that it's 20% of the profit and not the whole fee.
  20. I'd have thought that standard sell-ons were based on profit? As for the source, it was David Edgar, who presumably got it from within the club.
  21. I understand that it's £6.5m plus up to £1m of add-ons plus 20% sell-on clause of any profit made, but not on the full proceeds.
  22. I'm Like Bill in that I'd not listen to a podcast for more than an hour but I'm happy to pick up the rest of it later that day or the following day. Hoggy on H&H did a great one on Cooper that lasted almost 2 hours and I spread out my listening over 3 or 4 days, I usually listen to the H&H daily update on the way home from work which lasts around 25 minutes and is an ideal length to come up to date with the day's happenings. I would agree that the quality of pods is fantastic. H&H had one on RC Hamilton from more than 100 years ago that I'm looking forward to listening to and I've still to listen to their seven part "war years". Essential listening to anyone interested in the history of our great club, on top of the regular weekly pods from Gersnet, 4Lads and the multitude of H&H offerings to their paying subscribers.
  23. I went for Arfield. Did a lot of simple stuff well, worked hard and showed a bit of effort.
