I'm not convinced Candeias would have sought a transfer if he hadn't been humiliated by being left out of the first European squad. He could have been an asset this season and I'd blame Gerrard for his departure. That's my biggest criticism of Gerrard over the pas couple of months but nobody is perfect and it's easy to criticise with the benefit of hindsight.

So he's not right and they aren't equally shite towards every team? Free reign is given to players to assault Morelos, for example, and Brown is given impunity to go about kicking players regularly without any action. There's no way that teams are refereed to the same standards.

The C1872 statement doesn't add anything to what everyone already knew.

I believe that it's due to an agreement reached with the previous directors to get them to resign rather than a desire to move on. In my opinion, there's no question that they breached their fiduciary duties but, as you say it would have been time consuming and also difficult to prove in court.

I don't recall us ever playing 4-2-3-1 last season like he claims? No confusion, but it doesn't mean that we didn't play 4-3-3 at times in the last 7 games. ☺️
