I'd argue that he's too similar to Arfield in that respect. We would have 2 that don't have great pace. Having Kent and Arfield gives a good contrast. I guess there may be games where it may work, if the opposition is playing a 10 man defence, but a bit of pace is always helpful.

I went for Morelos. Best player in the team, best player in Scotland. Top scorer in Scotland. Was a stand-out in so many games throughout the season and seemed to be a one man team at times. Yes, there were issues but he was refereed differently from every other player in Scotland, and the authorities gave the opposition free reign to assault him (eg Broadfoot and Brown). Sent off several times incorrectly. His reputation seems to have suffered due to the team playing well recently following a change in formation but that's due to the formation and not him being out of the team and it shouldn't be forgotten that he carried us for much of the season.

Kent's pace is very useful in the 4-3-2-1 as well, when he drives at defences, and that's the one area we'd miss when using Murphy.

I've seen him in the Directors' Box several times recently, so it's surprising that he's getting in there and not employed.
