A majority of yesterday's game was 4-3-3, rather than 4-3-2-1. It's really swapping Kent for Jones and Candeias for Ojo. Based on performances so far, there's an argument to say Ojo is an upgrade, but I'd much prefer Kent to Jones.

Kent will cost over 20 times what we get for Candeias.

Have we ever played 4-4-2 under Gerrard?

That was similar to my feelings. I 'hated' him and thought he was a ned, and had mixed feeling about him signing. However after seeing him play his first game for us (away to Airdrie, I think), it seemed more natural to accept him as our player, and as others have said, he never gave less than 100% and was a credit to himself while he was at our club.

I guess they may well have transferred that as well, to make it much more difficult for Rangers to ask for the land, or for the club to develop in any meaningful way. ?

The area across the road from the stadium towards the car park is across disgrace. Weeds and grass everywhere. Numerous people commented on it. I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for the council to do anything about it though.

Forest made the choice to get rid of O'Neill. The directors always have a choice when a manager is totally out of his depth. If the directors believe that meekly accepting an abject performance and not having players make a huge issue then they were correct in their actions.

Follow Rangers were discussed on here before. IIRC, one of the main differences between them and C1872 were that under FR, shares are held in individual's names. I'd say that it seems a bit unfair to describe the guy as self important when it's just a group of fans wanting to invest in the club and to be given an opportunity not to have their shareholding diluted (and I know the wording isn't yours, Bearger). There's nothing wrong with shareholders/fans wanting to be given the opportunity to invest in the club and to not have their investment diluted.

Hopefully we've reached the stage where the board can be criticised without having a proviso that they've done well in other areas. I'd think that it goes without saying.
