  1. No, I wouldn't have said so.
  2. What's he saying?
  3. I presume it's for saying Weiss deserves the abuse he got from Celtic fans on Twitter.
  4. There won't be any punishment for this and we should just ignore the ramblings of the twisted bigots.
  5. I had thought the same, rbr. I'll make it a sticky when I get the chance.
  6. Just back from the meeting. There will be detailed minutes and a press release issued, probably tomorrow. However the main features were: Self-policing - we need to stop singing The Billy Boys and other songs containing "fenian", songs mentioning the pope, and the famine song. We need to be more organised as a support. Don't just moan on here. Take action and complain yourself. Don't rely on others. That's what they are doing. I will be posting a list of contact details later.
  7. Without the add-ons? You mean that the line containing the F word was not sung? It was sung at Ibrox. I understand that a DVD was submitted which highlighted and proved the songs that were sung.
  8. FARE's credibility has been badly damaged over this whole affair and it's disappointing that Howard Holmes cannot see the big picture and realise that his organisation has been hijacked with those with an agenda. I don't have a problem with them reporting us if we ave done something wrong, but we also expect some level of parity. This alleged anti-racism charity has ignored claims of racism in respect of other clubs and have refused to even respond to a fans' organisation when they have reported incidents of racism against a player. They have not treated Rangers in the same way as other clubs as has been shown by their repeated inactions against the consistent and continued sectarianism uttered by the Celtic fans and their support of a sectarian terrorist group. FARE's Executive Director is being paid by a company that is partly owned by the son of Celtic's biggest shareholder and his agenda has been proven in that he would even use charity events to have a go at the Rangers support. FARE's credibility is at an all-time low and the only way for them to recover is to replace their compromised Executive Director and to accept that they need to treat all claims of racism and sectarianism on an equal manner and stop just being the playthings of warped people who have an agenda against one specific club.
  9. As far as I'm aware. The club and UEFA don't appear to be suggesting that anything else is verboten.
  10. If a Rangers fan calls themselves a hun, it doesn't mean that it suddenly isn't offensive to be called one by a celtic fan. You and I may mean one thing when using that term but frustratingly while there are some (and not just Rangers fans) that use the slang/abusive term in respect of RCs then it's difficult to argue the point.
  11. It seems to be fairly clear. Mentioning the pope and use of fenian seem to be the 2 issues.
  12. I'm sure I read most of the stuff that Leggatt is taking credit for elsewhere before he decided to print it.
  13. I guess it's offensive to have a British passport as well? FFS.
  14. Are you sure that you have no more information than anyone else?
  15. The identity of the person will not be that relevant to UEFA. They have the DVD complied on our songs and are not going to ignore that just because they don't know the person that submitted it.
  16. I don't see that the identity of the person that pulled together the information will be that relevant. The charges will still stand. UEFA aren't going to dismiss them just because someone has an agenda. All the club can do is argue as to the meaning of the songs and that the interpretation is incorrect, something that they should be doing whether the person is neutral or not.
  17. My understanding is that it isn't Danny Lynch.
  18. Jelavic hasn't come close to a performance that would rank aside Laudrup's 20 best performances. Hearts final in 1996. Nuff said.
  19. That's what I had heard as well. I sit in the Main Stand, above the west enclosure and didn't hear anything, as I said before. They just can't stop telling lies. One tells it and the rest just jump on the bandwagon.
  20. What area are they claiming it came from, Ian?
  21. "What's it like to live in fear?" - did anyone hear this being chanted at the game or is it another lie? I certainly didn't hear it.
  22. The Celtic directors will be so proud and take no action as usual.
  23. Ibrox was totally bouncing. i haven't seen it like that for years. Brilliant stuff.
  24. The poppy banner followed a banner with IRA refences and another with a sectarian word on it, both authorised by Celtic FC and its directors. Celtic know and fully approve of the Green Brigade banners and still allow them to operate within the club. That tells you all you need to know about their club.
