I get a mention as being the weekly winner on the front page and I win a DAB digital radio. :spl: Not sure why I win it and the other ones on 12 points don't, but who cares?

Yeah, big improvement, in my opinion. Something weird seems to have happened to New Posts though. It now seems to be including all posts and not just new ones, but not from all forums. Forum Support posts aren't appearing now for example. It was working perfectly earlier today.

I have some other comments: 1. The forum pages look too "busy". One of the main reasons for this is the fact that we now have "Started by Frankie, 08-12-2010 08:56 AM" whereas before we just had "Frankie", I believe. When the thread was started can be found by opening up the thread in question and I don't think it adds anything by having it on the main page. There's just too much information which takes away from the user friendly aspect. 2. The drop down box to switch between forums is not as good as it used to be. It appears above rather than below and it also takes up more space due to the use of boxes rather than just having a line for each forum so you can't see it all at once and have to scroll. 3. On the main page of each forum we have the replies/views column in a different shade which aids viewing. Can we also have the column for the envelopes on the left in a different shade? It makes it easier on the eyes. 4. I think that we also had the thread icons in a separate column whereas now they are just part of the line. Again I think that it would be easier to look at if we had them separate which makes scanning the thread titles easier. Not sure how much of this can be adjusted under the new software?

Celts fans in poppy ââ?¬Ë?disgraceââ?¬â?¢
Bluedell replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
So that's the Green Brigade, the Celtic Trust, the Celtic Supporters Association and Association of Irish Celtic Supporters Clubs (so far). Hardly the tiny minority that some are trying to make out. Their club is rotten to the core. -
Not keen on the orange banners at the top. Doesn't really go with the shade of blue. Too garish on the eyes. The light blue works better IMHO.

which is one more click than it used to be.

Looks great now that you have done the customisation. I don't like the way that it defaults to Quick reply though, and think it would be better to have a quick reply box at the bottom of the thread but if you click on "reply to Thread" it goes advanced automatically.

Celts fans in poppy ââ?¬Ë?disgraceââ?¬â?¢

As I pointed out earlier, it has the tacit support of the directors of the club. The Green brigade will still be allowed to operate, despite causing problems last year at this time and with their numerous banners. I'm sure the club will apologise for their next act as well. -

There have been numerous complaints, over a number of years, about the Tom Williams CSC banner appearing at Ibrox when they play us, and it still reappears, and is never removed. -

Not sure what point you are making. I didn't deny that some celtic fans would not be against the banners. As for the UVF quote, what organised group within Ibrox chants that? (Like Frankie, I don't hear it at away games either, but that's not the point). -

Not every support has a group of arseholes officially condoned by the club (although they are far more than mere arseholes). They have repeatedly shown pro-IRA banners and the club contnue to do nothing about it and to sanction the group. The message being put out has the tacit support of the directors of Celtic Football Club. -
A great week for me with 12 points. I'm equal first in the whole competition for the month of November.

We should tell UEFA to go f*** themselves and their Respect campaign given their attitude towards the club and its support over the past 5 years. Respect has to be earned and UEFA have shown a hypocritical atttude to their campaign and they haven't earned mine. Also got to wonder why the Spanish take the attitude against alcohol but allow another addictive product, namely gambling, to be freely advertising on their shirts.

Tannadice linesman, Stevie Craven resigns

And they continue to get away with their campaign of intimidation on the officials. the SFA should develop a backbone and come out against Lawwell and the scummy approach that everyone associated with their "club" takes. -
He plays well in a midfield 5. I'm not convinced he would be great in the middle of a midfield 4.

He still didn't have one of his best games yesterday. Inconsistent at best.

Police order crackdown on casuals plotting Ibrox revenge riot
Bluedell replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
What about the problems on PRW last time they visited Ibrox? -
Liverpool aren't getting away with anything. They may also be forced into administration, but they do have options for repayment, unlike Dundee.

This was discussed at the time, and my feeling was that the actual attendance was somewhere inbetween the 2 figures. It wasn't as much as 49,500 but wasn't as low as 41,500.

A question in relation to that night's tactics and the chages made to the team are not valid or worthwhile?

The legal system in this country was once renowned, but after decisions like this and other recent ones involving the so-called "famine sing", you have to conclude that certain sheriffs ignore the evidence and just come to the decision that makes their life the easiest and not one based on facts and justice.

That was only part of what I said. Where geography or finance come into play the more relevant part is "the guy whose only involvement with Rangers is switching on the TV at 5pm each Saturday and hoping that they have won are not as big fans as the guys like us who live and breathe it each day".
-
If it happened against Rangers I'd be shouting for a penalty. His arm was up in the air and the ball hitting it prevented the cross from going in. Can't blame the officials for giving it.
-
He's answering the questions that I would like to hear the answer to. He may not owe the press anything but he owes the fans. Why can't we hear his views on the different dimension Miller gave to the team tonight?
-
I don't get that attitude. Are all fans the same? No. Work and finances don't stop me going to watch Scotland. I just don't care enough. I would still classify myself as a fan and want them to win, but when they lose, I've forgotten about it in 5 minutes. There is not the same highs and lows as there is in following Rangers. I'm a far bigger Rangers fan than I am a Scotland fan, and I don't have a problem in saying that. The guys who get much more involved with the Scotland team, either by spending time going to see the games and being more emotional are bigger fans than me. Likewise the guy whose only involvement with Rangers is switching on the TV at 5pm each Saturday and hoping that they have won are not as big fans as the guys like us who live and breathe it each day or the ones who go home and away each week.
