Like a shot. I'd prefer to see my club testing itself at the highest level possible each week, rather than being in a footballing backwater and being too scared to go forward and using "identity" as poor excuse for a lack of ambition.

Not relevant to my question. So you would prefer to have McDonald in front of Miller? Given that virtually none of the Middlesborough team are good enough to get into our team, they are a poor example of how how we would get on there. Guys like Burke and Rae couldn't hack it with us and yet they're playing for a team that are top of the championship. Charlie Adam was never a regular and look where he is now. We struggle against Hamilton, we beat Celtic convincingly, we reach the final of the UEFA Cup. You can pick out various things to show our relative standing. Middlesborough are just a crap example.

Thomson wasn't playing. McDonald in front of Miller? No thanks. Robson in front of who? McManus in front of who? Bougherra? No way. Weir? Based on the Scotland game, Weir looked the better player. So a maximum of 2 (possibly), and even then they're not automatic picks. I don't see that a struggling Middlesborough team reflects badly on Rangers ability to hold their own against the lower end of the EPL or the top Championship teams.

It's pointless to look at our current side and how they would fare if we went down south, because our budget would be significantly increased if we did and much of the team would be replaced. How would Liverpool get on if they were playing in the SPL next season? They'd lose a whole load of players who woudn't play here and their budget would be significantly decreased, and there's no guarantee that they'd win the league.

Nice one. Just a small point. it should be "The Rangers family opens its heart..." Also, should it be just Rangers rather than Glasgow Rangers? Usually the former, but given the audience in this case there may be an argument for the latter? -

David Edgar said at last year's AGM that the items were purchased by the ex-board member in question in good faith. I am unsure whether this is the view of the whole board, but perhaps if this was added to the minute, it would clarify the situation? My recollection was that a majority (if not all) of the pieces that were bought from the one company that was already under investigation. The way that the minute is written certainly is open to interpretation as it suggests that the items were purchased from a wide range of suppliers and only one was known, but this was not what I took from the meeting.

25 years ago. Wow. I was at the game in Cardiff and that really makes me feel old. Still can't be doing with this applause thing. Makes me feel very uncomfortable.

We booed our own national anthem for many years, so why should anyone else be any different? Where were UEFA and FIFA then?

I think that it looks good. It's nice to get something plain (and timeless?) for a change rather than fancy designs that don't look that great. The issue of the quality is a different matter but the design is good.

They only get watched once a fortnight so I should be getting 2 weeks worth of refunds...or maybe 3 as it's an international weekend this week. It's a real struggle to pay the maid as it is.
