A bit more on supporters and representation as well. The Assembly gets strongly plugged, although it seems that if you are a season ticket holder and not a member of a supporters club or the RST (like most of my mates) your views don't matter. Old ground I know, but it's now more official. Overall the site is slightly nicer, but not a huge difference.

Why do you think that we can? My thoughts are the only way we could do it is adopting the UEFA Cup run tactics and getting a lot of luck, and a new centre half, and a forward that can play upfront himself. Otherwise forget it. We won'tdo it with Davie Weir in the team, as top class forwards will tear him to shreads with his lack of pace. Likewise, we can't afford to play 4-4-2, as we don't have the class to compete with that formation, and we don't have a Cousin type to lead the line anymore either. Perhaps Lafferty can do it, but he'll need a run in the team upfront and not playing left mid.

It's probably just someone in Belfast who has read and understood some of my posts. It's actually fairly obvious. They are 3 of the players who would raise over �£2m if sold, and are the most likely to go. Our financial situation is such that we have to sell to bring players in. We might spend a couple of mill from the CL cash if Celtic don't qualify, but otherwise the vast majority of that cash will go to meeting the running costs of the club, and reducing the debt to a level that's not on the edge of our current facility. I don't think there's any inside information needed to come up with the original "rumour".

The Sunday 6pm kick-offs were the demise of my supporters club. Very few of us wanted to go up to Aberdeen and Dundee on a Sunday night and back late when you have to be up early for work the next day. It was one of the main reasons why the club folded.
