    So he's not good enough to make the Rangers first team in front of Lee McCulloch (and presumably Christian Dailly) but he's good enough for a scotland call-up?

    I thought McCulloch did OK and was one of our better players. Edu was OK but needs to offer more consistently. The front pairing of Boyd and velicka allows teams to defend high up the park, and compacts the midfield allowing teams to stifle our midfield. I really don't see it working long term, as there is just no pace there. I think that we look far more dangerous with some pace alongside Boyd. Although Velicka and Boyd have played together in the last 4 games and both scored 4 goals, only one of Boyd's goals has been when when Velicka is on the park, and our scoring rate increases when Velicka has gone off the park.

    I thougt he was a real danger all afternoon and Whittaker really struggled against him.

    I didn't say that being disrespectful to the Queen made you a bigot. It does say something else about the person though. As the banner at today's game said "45 Commando - For Queen and Country"

    Who do we drop though? Thomson/Edu? Mendes? Does anyone know what formation Blackpool play? I've always felt Adam plays best as part of a centre five, which we tend not to play.

    A poor excuse for not spending cash on a proper museum. The trophy room can only be accessed 2 days a week, and isn't accessable to tourists etc. In addition, all the trophy room is a trophy room. It doesn't tell much about the Rangers story. Does it have any explanation of where the club used to play? Does it have lots of examples of the strips through the ages etc? The article is a joke.

    Yeah, i thought Evra had had a good season, but largely based on MOTD highlights, so would also bow to JB's knowledge. I thought Clichy hadn't been that great until the last 6 weeks, but again I wouldn't claim to have any level of insight on this. Going back to Giggs, it devalues the award if it's going to be awarded for reasons other than who has had the best season.

    He was booed after having a crap game once and missing a barrel load of chances, but it wasn't immediately after he signed for us.

    Marvin Andrews was another that kinda falls into that category. I never for a moment thought the big man would end up being totally adored by the support.

    Thanks to Tannochside Bear for informing me that I've got the wrong end of the stick and the allocation between RSCs and other fans wasn't discussed.

    That's largely how I remember it as well. Laudrup wasn't welcomed that greatly. It was only once he started playing that people got excited. Gazza was slightly different. There was a buzz of excitement, but he had been injured a lot and there was also a great deal of uncertainty. I'd say the resentment of Hateley only lasted 6 months. He'd turned most people around by Christmas. Prso was looked upon with some scepticism. Was he only a one game wonder, after his CL performance (a bit like Salenko)? Cannigia was doing well for Dundee, but it was Dundee. Out of all of them Gazza was probably the only one that I had genuine excitment over, but there were still doubts over his fitness. Other players that I was excited about us buying that ended up being relative flops were Kuznetzov and Rozental.

    Strange. It is illegal for the club to continue trading if it is unable to pay its debts so I wonder why the directors have put the holding company into administration and not the club itself?

    I wonder why the RST and the Assembly haven't issued reports on it from their viewpoint.

    So the organisation that represents supporters clubs met with Rangers and the conclusion is that the allocation next season will be fairer to ALL? Hmmm. So who was putting forward the argument for non-supporters club members? Is the allocation fairer to them?

    I generally find it difficult to get excited after having some many let downs over the years. Mols was probably the last one that I got genuinely excited about.
