  2. I seriously havn't laughed as much since the Helicopter changing direction! This is phenomenal, typical ****s!!
  3. HA Ha HA, get the bellends back on the telly!!! Canny wait for the phone-in's 2moro night!!
  4. the quote from the methadone user last night on Sky Sports news was, "Keane will score 30 goals by May!" Hasnt got off to a great start the lad! :spl:
  5. anyone listening to the "league champions" and Keano being humbled by the mighty Killie?! Hahahaha:spl:
  6. I feel sorry for the guy tbh, he's sat on the board and watched whats happened to our club over the last few years and has been man enough (as a lifelong fan) to stand up and take on Murray's role. I watched his face etched with dissapointment in Bucharest at both the scoreline and fan behaviour. Im sure he will help us out this mess and i for one am happy that we seem to be getting less smoke and mirrors (at the moment). Time will tell.
  7. I'm gonna become a Pohang Steelers fan - who's this team called Rangers!?:fish:
  8. The name says it all...... Ridiculously biased content
  9. This probably happens at all away games, but there were definately a group of about 20 odd guys who were supposedly ICF - a good few of them were drinking in the same pub as ourselves on Wednesday Afternoon/night. A fellow bear pointed them out - most of which had London accents and none wore Rangers colours. I didnt particularly know what to say to the guy, but felt a bit sick at the thought of them to be honest. I dont mean to say that these guys cause trouble, but its too easy - especially in countries like that - for randoms to turn up, buy tickets and get in beside the normal bears who have had to fill out forms identifying who they are and by what means they are travelling to away games in Europe. I dont know how you could stop this from happening. I would say, bear in mind that we are certainly no where near as poorly behaved as many "fans" in other European countries. Only a few weeks ago a Toulouse fan was beaten to death by Partizan Belgrade fans.... http://www.brice-taton.com/lagression/index-en.html
  10. I can verify TB's story also - it really was that poorly organised, having watched the whole thing happen from the Main Stand. I think on this occasion, Bain and Johnston certainly have to back the fans (with the exception of a few who threw seats). Both watched the whole thing from their box above us, and certainly had a clear view of it. That Stadium/surrounding area was like the land that time forgot and i dont have a clue how it could ever pass European stadia rules. Fan safety was certainly placed at risk and we witnessed both Urziceni and Rangers fans almost being hit by passing cars at the stadium perimeter due to no lighting, flooded walkways and no safety barriers. It wasn't a case of fans being drunk here guys, the place was beyond shambolic. Our boys were alsoshocked at the lack of (at least) English speaking or Rangers Stewards, meaning no guidance on where to enter the stadium or separation from Romanian fans. Maybe TB can add to this, but the stewards inside the ground starting removing Gers banners which had sat at the bottom of the seating the full first half. I didnt see the reason for this, however that seemed to anger a lot of guys - understandably so - and seemed to start the following bother. The whole thing was a f*ckin disaster of a set up - and while i dont agree at all with the guys breaking seats and throwing them (they should be punished) - A strong case must be put to UEFA, as from the outside looking in, its just another case of "rangers hooligans."
  11. In all seriousness Gav, Park is interested in buying us with some other guys, my boss is pals with him and goes to Rotary Club with him. He came back to Hamilton about 3 weeks ago to discuss possibly putting an offer together, but must not have come to anything as havn't heard since
  12. We needed a midfielder before the kaunas game, he didnt bring 1 in or motivate the team to beat them. He then went ott after being put out and to do what? appease the fans, cos there's no way he needed 5 centre mids? Closing the door after the horse has bolted. In fact i blame SDM on this as well.
  13. I'm just trying to think of why Dave King would buy us out when we appear at our lowest ebb. But he's a fan, if any one of us had the money, wouldn't we do the same? Given time and persistance, he stands to become a legend in the life of Glasgow Rangers FC should he rescue the club from ruin. We can surely only head in one direction cant we?
  14. we win against Kaunas and the next leg and enter champs lg, than i dont think there is an issue on spending. He should never have spent the money he did on Lafferty and also bought Edu and then didnt play him for half a season. I think the other issue is that he didnt bring in players for the positions that needed filled, which still is glaringly obvious. IMO his transfer policy is mindnumbingly stupid, and i for one do not want him spending another pound of Rangers FC
  15. Davis and Levein - NO NO NO! What the hell are we talking about lowering ourselves to this level? You could see the point when Jim McLean was winning the league and beating the old firm, but FFS Levein - does anyone remember the last game of last season? Forget money for a moment, (meaning potential budgets - not manager wages) why cant we go for someone with a higher pedigree in europe? An up and coming manager who knows where to find tomorrows great young players around Europe. Al tell you something, Mykhaylychenko is not a bad shout, he's won titles at Kiev, worked under Valery Lobanovsky and must know the cheaper Eastern European market inside out. I've always said Michael Laudrup is my favoured option though, plays attacking football and is respected across the world. Both of these guys have links to Rangers too.
  16. Maybe a pie in the sky idea, but would a new high profile manager who could improve the playing style with the squad we have be more likely to attract potential buyers/investor???
  17. 32 Million spent in 3 seasons by a club in debt? I mean, we would'nt get even half of that back Also a Failure to qualify for a previous champions league
  18. I've said it before, i'd take Michael Laudrup in a minute. Doubt he'd come though
  19. By conducting himself i mean outside of a football match, how the hell has twitter got anything to do with playing a game of football? At not 1 point did i condone what has happened, but do you think it is the best way to announce this over a social networking site? Doesn't exactly give much respect to his employers does it? Plus it gives the media a bloody field day on Rangers
  20. 7/1 on William Hill for a Hibs win on Saturday.......
  21. Dead right, as i posted about the Edu thing, surely to f*ck Rangers have some control over this? We pay their wages!
  22. True enough... I feel myself ALMOST adopting the mentality of the Mhanks here....we are hard done too
