Have to agree, you wonder how stories like this get to the papers anyway. Why would we be looking at a guy from Ireland where i would imagine any other club in the SPL could afford him? Call me cynical but............

Affelay from PSV or Aissati from Ajax (i think) would be cracking piece of business for around 4-5M tho, in the mould of GVB that you would always be able to move on for a profit, highly rated in Holland. You obviously havn't been to Ibrox to watch this Charlatan then mate?? He played well a few years back, got a new contract and then decided to go on holiday during games, taking money out of Rangers for F-all in return. The guy is a lazy, moaning wee twat. More content to shout at a referee or sit on his arse after being fouled than putting in a bit of a fight and trying to win a ball back. As for going forward, he has hidden in the majority of matches in the last few years, only tries when he feels like it, and hardly ever makes himself available for forward passes anymore. Similar to Cousin (who i was a fan of most of the time), Burke is lazy and quite obviously cannot be bothered playing for Rangers, this is where the "negativity" comes from. And another thing, i know its ur opinion, but burke better than Naismith??? Cum on

I cant believe people think WS would be taking a gamble putting Aaron into the team. The guy was thought to be player of the Tournament at the 2007/2008 Under 19 european championships, a tournament in which Bojan has also received the same praise. We are playing f*ckin duds in this team currently, a player of even potentially this calibre should be in the first 11 every time. Its embaressing when europe looks on at how pish poor our team is, we have Aaron and wont even play the guy.

I cant believe this!!!! Who lets these idiots speak to the press? since the start of the season McCulloch and Lafferty have came out and spoke too. Better staying back in training for an hour or 2 more than embaressing the team like this.

Yes i understand he hasnt had a run in his preferred position (wherever that may be), but he appears to be unable to produce anything of even reasonable quality at all in wide areas or through the middle, and i beg anyone to differ.

As much as i dont agree that today was all Ferguson's fault, the stupidity of this started a month or so ago with WS saying that as soon as he was ready he would get back in the team. There is no pressure on his shoulders it seems with the exception of the fans. Also, have you ever saw Barry shouting on his team in times of need aka Butcher, Gough or even others who wernt captain like Brown, McCall etc? I know its harping back to NIAR, but thats what it takes to win things, and we have no one with the exception of maybe Davis who has passion. You all know what its like playing 5's for example, you need a bit of drive and commitment, this is what is sorely lacking from this team, and has been for many years now - Ferguson being a prime example.

Exactly, f*ckin moans all the time when he should be getting back up and working for the ball. I know its the whole team at fault, but including wasters like this in the starting line-up set you back from the beginning. We havn't even bought potential as he has showed f*ck all until now

We were a total disgrace, the tims must be pishing themselves. Pains me to say it, but if they win today and on the 27th, barring injuries/suspensions, i'd say they are taking 4 in a row, it would just be far too many points for our team with no spirit/focus to claw back.

This is not a knee jerk reaction, have thought nothing of this woeful player since his shockingly over priced move to us. Honestly, for a guy who is a supposed gers fan, he offers zero contribution. Another reflection of Smith's pathetic close season transfer buys.

Not been on here in a wee bit due to an operation, but in that time i was told about this lovely wee youtube moment. I flamin' hope so, they are a tip of an establishment anyway. My bro thinks they could be in financial difficulty anyway as they renaged on a deal for 12 swimming pools with his own company's competitor, sending that lot under last week. Seemingly these were to be built across britain, but they can no longer afford them. Understandable in the current climate, but they always have been a pretty poor effort of a retailer IMO
