Walter: Should he stay or should he go?
Yieldshields loyal replied to Gazza_8's topic in Rangers Chat
I have to say i'd like him to move on. He's won the league, eventually, and fair play, but as has been mentioned above, his negativity is so frustrating - especially after the royal humping we gave united yesterday. He had the chance (and a bit of money) last season to change the defensive approach, but did not. I can only see more mediocre and overpriced buys this summer and there must be 1 or 2 utility players out there that are not on Rangers books. Furthermore his policy on youth players, with the exception of Lafferty, they dont get a look in. Rangers fans deserve a bit of quality football at Ibrox again, because since Advocaat, it has been sadly lacking. Nope, i'd say its time to step aside Walter, althoughi cant see it happening. -

Scotland chop looming for under-fire Allan McGregor
Yieldshields loyal replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
shocking message to send out to McGregor if this happens. Huntelaars header - Berra was posted missing, however it was a fabulous cross Van Persie header - McGregor was being obstructed + no1 attacked the header anyway Penalty - Hardly McGregors fault -
How's Rory Loy getting on at Dunfermline on Loan? Anyone know?

They make me laugh, always come out with snidey comments about us as if they are world beaters
-
I agree with this, cant see it happening tho unfortunately unless we lose against Hearts on Saturday and we cant afford to do that

The same PR bullshit that gets stuffed down our throat after pish like this and Inverness, be the man and admit that your selections and negativity were what beat us Smith

Walter Smith, you are the weakest link - GOODBYE!

My good ol' dad seems to think so, thinking back to Sellic teams with Stuart Slater and Wayne Biggins methinks! -

Throwing a bomb into the mix here as well Gav, ive been arguing with my dad that he has been a worse manager than Advocaat. WS has royally fucked us in a financial sense also. I put the lost 10M Champions Lge money at his door. Combine this with the summer signing policy - another 9M waste (Velicka, Miller, Laugherty, Edu - why buy him and not play him), and you have a lost £19M. Advocaat was allowed to spend money to gain progress in Europe, and with the exception of Flo and Konterman, you cant argue that he brought in quality players and lifted our standard of football. The team that finished the final yesterday was a throw back to the end of last seasons team bar Mendes. None of the above players have contributed anything apart from a Laugherty goal in the league. How anyone can defend WS on this seasons exploits is farcical. -
Gav, u being serious? Ive mentioned him before, but how about Michael Laudrup? Done a cracking job at Getafe last season, playing attacking football and he could be the type of high profile manager we need to attract decent names to Ibrox again, bound to have plenty of links in europe and a good eye for a player. At Spartak Moscow just now, season just started, only 1 game in. At least he also has a bit of an insight into our club and its traditions.

What a loser. First saw him interviewed after T in the Park last year and he came across as a right boring twat who thinks his opinion is the be all and end all. Wouldn't waste my time worrying about this, at end of the day they all hate Nacho because he chose the righteous over the unwashed. Glasvegas are minging IMO, unless your in a wrist-slitting mood

The slating of walter smith and the team!
Yieldshields loyal replied to gavin3084's topic in Rangers Chat
Just to throw a firework into the bonfire, anyone else feel that fan pressure had a bit to do in Uncle Smith's decision to bring Fleck into the team....- 104 replies

About time the lad got a game, him and Fleck should be used in that position til the end of the season - albeit as long as giving good performances. Will maybe make the rest of them who play wide Left realise they have no future at Ibrox, find another club and stop leaching off us.

Rangers 0 : 0 Celtic - Player Ratings and MoM Poll
Yieldshields loyal replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Composure and ability are two different aspects, i'd measure ability on being able to create and being technically good, McCulloch sadly doesnt score well against Fleck in this respect. Fleck will learn in time to deal with games like this, he needed to play yesterday. His ability is not unquestionable, but in the 4 or 5 games he has played this season, he has shown more guille in his attacking play than most of those who have played wide left before him, McCulloch included, thats how i would explain it anyway. -

Crackin' that WS has just realised that he should be playing the guy - when the fans have been shouting for him since the start of the season. -

Blame us! Its the internet fans fault for slating players on websites, other clubs read it and think - i'm not having any apples off their barrow!

I think its a case of truth hurts Mr Murray
-
Dont know what the script is with this guy, just didnt have the heart or right attitude. Believed his own hype if you ask me. Too much diving also which i couldn't stick. Surely this should have been trained out of him at Murray park.....or booted out of him!
-
Couldn't have put this any better MF! You should write for a broadsheet! - not in the Speirs mould please though!

Canterbury of new zealand our new shirt rep?
Yieldshields loyal replied to gavin3084's topic in Rangers Chat
Call me a snob, but would far rather sign a deal with Adidas or Nike, far better brands for a club like ourselves to be associated with. Dont suppose we are a big enough attraction just now though
