  1. No, of course not. I'm referring to all the club chairmen and how it looks to an expat down south - bloody embarrassing. I know Regan and Doncaster are not Scots but it was Scottish organisations that hired them. Frankly, it's so serious that the SNP should get involved.
  2. They don't want us. and they don't need us. The only chance we will have is if an EPL 2 was formed. When Phil Gartside tried to do just that he was roundly outvoted.
  3. You know I'm wondering if it isn't all empty posturing from them. It's their day in the sun and they're making the most of it. I cannot really believe that they would want to totally destroy professional football in Scotland. If that is the case then I hope Scotland never goes independent. Run a country? They cannot even run a football league.
  4. It doesn't invalidate your point but Annan are already in the SFL3.
  5. Well, I am. We should be well enough known not to need the Glasgow bit.
  6. Was it not Trotsky who said that you cannot have a socialist island in a capitalist sea? Then again, he never visited Steelonia.
  7. So have I. Any idea if a donation is still made to the academy every time I make a transaction?
  8. That's only because it doesn't scan if you leave out the 'Glasgow.'
  9. How? It's not Leith Hibs?
  10. At last, someone who agrees with me! I've been banging on about this for years. We don't say 'London Arsenal' or even Woolwich Arsenal. We are The Rangers - it says so on the gates of Ibrox.
  11. While we're at it, never got why some are lukewarm to Sandy Jardine. Is it because he's an Edinburgher? I thought along with Greig he's a Gers legend.
  12. Well, you could show them a photo of Danny Wilson.
  13. That kind of magnanimity would go a long way to see us restore our tattered reputation. I've been away from Scotland for a long time but never realised how much we are loathed. Are Manure and Chelski loathed the same way in England? I'm not sure.
  14. You're wrong there! http://www.thirdlanarkac.co.uk/My grandfather was a supporter. People are trying to re-start the club. Let's hope that's not the case with us.
  15. And if they do rot in hell, who are we going to play against? Please, please, please, don't start the England/conference idea again.
  16. Been wondering about that. Sure their situation was exactly the same as ours? They didn't have an EBT hanging over them, just ran out of money.
  17. I read Mark Wotte praising him to the heavens not that long ago. We must build around people like that; if we don't then we really are dead. I don't want us to become a guest club for loanees and has-beens. We need a solid core of Rangers players, hand-reared, more than ever before.
  18. I didn't mean literally Jig plus 10 but we still don't know for sure who else is staying. Maybe Alexander in goal and an experienced centre back?
  19. Whatever squad we start with I hope it's comprised of young Scottish players in the main. It will be hard enough getting back to the top with youths but it will be something to follow, watching them progress and develop albeit with some setbacks - the likes of Ness and Perry. What I sincerely hope we do not do is to recruit any more foreign mercenaries or players in the twilight of their careers; I mean like Capucho, Ostenstad etc. If we go down that route - the elephant's graveyard route - then it will truly be the end of our club. At least with home-grown youngsters we can start building some togetherness and maybe breeding loyalty again. Thank God for Jig - he could be invaluable at the Div. 1 level. My big fear is that Green will use his agency contacts to stuff us full of anonymities from League One, two and three.
  20. Bollocks Whittaker. You wouldn't be missed anyway. Crap defender.
  21. It was only a couple of weeks ago that many on here were eulogising Naismith, saying he was a true Ranger. There's no such thing these days, with the possible exception of Nacho.
  22. Trouble is the fans' voices have been listened to over our expulsion from SPL; those left have now to make up the shortfall by increasing their attendances.
  23. Classic post mate. There's so much there I can empathise with. I too came down to England at a tender age and have some Catholic cousins who support Keltic. Frankie - any chance you can put this on main site?
  24. Is not that something that could be seized upon by a good legal team? Another reason for staying until we are pushed out:if we jump first then we undermine our case.
