  1. lol it's scaremongering for spastics.
  2. It's bullshit. We offered £5m for that Caracciolo guy at the end of january. Don't listen to the mhedia. I doubt much will happen until after the euros. Not that we'll be after anyone playing there, it's just the way it goes when there's a tournament in the summer. Martin Bain said a couple of weeks ago we'll be bringing in quality. Patience!!!
  3. I'm sorry but Lovenkrands, in West of Scotland parlance as the Herald might say, was a shitebag. Playing for the shirt indeed. He was fucking Houdini when the going got tough then pissed off to Germany off the back of a couple of CL goals. He couldn't beat an egg and his first touch was pish. Would much rather see Efrem promoted as he has genuine talent.
  4. All that article does for me is say 'Hey English Clubs, Carlos is available if the price is right!' It doesn't actually say we're offering him a new deal. If you read between the lines, his agent is saying : 'treble the wages or I'll find someone who will. In fact I'm gonna try anyway.'
  5. £30m earned. Maloney, McFadden, Fletcher. All possible. It's too much to wish for but it fucking well shouldn't be. Gutted.
  6. I agree gribz. If we managed to get both on board I'd say it was the best summer in years!!
  7. Apart from the Palladino guy and the Greek RB, all the current rumours are very disheartening. How about this one? THE Old Firm are set to battle it out for Aston Villa forward Shaun Maloney. Former Celtic star Maloney is desperate to quit Martin O'Neill's side to return north and wants a deal concluded as soon as possible. MailSport can reveal that behind-the-scenes moves from both clubs have taken place within the past 72 hours. Rangers boss Walter Smith was tempted to move for Maloney in January last year when the player couldn't agree a new Hoops deal. But it was decided moving directly across the Old Firmdivide wasn't ideal and Villa snapped him up for s1million. However, Gers have now reassessed the situation and feel Maloney would be an excellent addition to their team as Smith bids to inject more flair and pace. It's understood the Scotland ace would be willing to join Rangers to kickstart his career. And the possibility of teaming up with his former Parkhead reserve coach Kenny McDowall - now first-team coach at Ibrox - is an attraction. However, Celtic also want to bring him back. Manager Gordon Strachan has never hidden his admiration for Maloney - named SPFA Player of the Year in 2006 - and the pair have stayed in contact since his move south. There is no doubt Maloney feels a greater pull towards the Hoops but he isn't ruling anything out at this stage. The 25-year-old hasn't been a regular for Villa but English sources insist the Premiership club want s3m for him. However, that kind of fee wouldn't be a problem for the Old Firm as they fight each other in the transfer market for the second summer running. Last year Celtic won the s4.4mchase for Hibs star Scott Brown while Kilmarnock's Stevie Naismith opted for Rangers in a s2m deal. I'd be into this TBH.

    Kyle Lafferty

With the amount of money we've made the rumours are gutting. Still give it time Beattie, we'll make a couple of signings that the papers won't have got wind of. Always happens.

    Kris Boyd

If we get a decent side together over the summer and Boyd plays regularly with someone that can hold the ball up well, then I honestly think he could get 40 goals a season. However, unless we do get said players in then there's no point keeping him to come off the bench and get pelters if he doesn't work miracles in 5 minutes.
  10. Marlon bloody Harewood for £4m? Not a fan of that particular rumour. Lovenkrands was outstanding as a striker through the middle but didn't have the skill to beat a man that really good wingers have. I'd rather get someone else in. Never heard of the Cartoon Cavalcade guy....but if he plays for Juventus and has been capped by Italy why would he even consider moving here?
  11. Pogrebnyak---Toni---Arshavin Ronaldo------Quaresma-------Malouda Lahm----Cannavaro--Zambrotta---Torosidis ------------------Buffon Wouldn't be balanced in real life given I've got 3 wingbacks in my defence and my midfielders are all wingers, but hey, goals are the name of the game in fantasy land. Having 3 italians in the back line will ensure some defensive points too. Yous are getting rode!!:box:
  12. I take it we've all got Ronaldo? I couldn't resist Arshavin...:uzi:
  13. One last time then: SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't reckon we will pay the figures being mentioned. Record says we bid £1.8m and we're gonna back off if the price ain't right. Sounds like us!

    Kyle Lafferty

Too right you could get some player for that kind of money.
  16. nice one. Another £2.50 in watties's kitty!!

    Kyle Lafferty

if we're gonna pay £4m for this guy I think it's a terrible waste of money.
  18. good news. Another pish player safely out of wattie's reach. Is Lafferty a striker or a winger?
  19. It happens in the media all the time and to people from every walk of life. If you upset the people at the top of the tree then expect a prompt character assasination in the papers. Some papers in Scotland are run by sellic fans, some by Rangers. Which paper was it so I know never to buy it again???
  20. Stevie G at the brox. Quality! Liverpool are my second team. Bring them on!!!
  21. don't be daft wija. Along with faddy, he's the best technical player Scotland have. Shame the pair of them are beggars and Scott Brown is gutted stuck at the piggery.
  22. Darren Fletcher only from that list I'm afraid.
