    Boydnet. Yawn:yawn:

    Dean Furman

yeah I'd like them to go on loan to SPL sides so we can see them, with clauses stating they canny play us obviously!
  3. Best news yet. Now if we can just get His Majesty to put pen to paper we'll be doing alright:thup:

    Lee McCulloch

Ach he's no bad, but if he was still playing at motherwell I don't think there would be any clamour to sign him. £2.5m is an offer we can't refuse. Don't think he'll want to go right enough.

    Kris Boyd

Why don't we just call it Boydnet and be done with it?
  6. So you reckon Cousin is worthy of the jersey, Boyd is a good shout for the lone striker role in future and Lafferty, at over £3m, will "make the bench at least." Also that Miller and Velicka are squad players. Wake up mate. Yer aff yer heid on all counts:admin:

    Alan Gow

I don't think there's any doubt we'll see more of Fleck this coming season. Could he be the creative player we need? Maybe he's still too young, but then Rooney was playing every week for Everton when he was only slightly older. Surely Walcott and Ramsey would play every week for us?
  9. Fucking hell, a rangers shirt that actually looks buyable! Think it'll be my first since the Nike days! P.S The socks had bloody better be red and black:ffs:
  10. Thomson was superb in the second half of the season in particular, but when barry's not there, 100% fit or not, we struggle badly for cohesion and drive. He is also the most technically astute player in our midfield although it's impossible to argue that he didn't have a bad season. I occasionally watch some of the old european games etc on RTV and it's a shame to see how much he's lost from his game, whether it's due to injury or the conservatism that comes with age in footballers I don't know. However, we simply do not have a viable alternative in terms of a real leader, nor can we afford one and the experience he brings is invaluable. I'd like to see him back in the holding role where he belongs, spreading the passes around, calmly dictating play and making the odd well timed foray forward. I think playing him further forward was the root of a lot of our long ball pish last season. I also think if the team can be improved technically in general then he'll relax a bit in terms of his play. We all know he tries do too much when half the team are nowhere near his level. His frustration is clear to see. Lets hope we get the old Barry back next season. He is afterall our best midfielder.
  11. I'd love to sign him. Reckon he'll end up at the piggery though. Shame as he could indeed be the answer to our long standing no.10 problem.
  12. Strange one that putting the rejection of a bid on the official site. Are we trying to fuel the media fire surrounding the possible sale to try and increase the price by alerting other clubs? Or is it a message to fans that he is staying despite interest. I wonder.....
  13. I agree that the signings of Lafferty and Miller seem Taylor made for a poacher like Boydy. The Velicka signing however suggests to me that Boyd is for the off with Cardiff reportedly the first to show interest. Not good. Now we need to get rid of JCD, Cousin, Gow, Buffel, Hemdani to free up the cash for Arshavin;)
  14. Are folk trying to tell me that SDM is in it purely for the love of Rangers? I can see there's no naievity involved so I can only assume people are in denial here. Successful, i.e money making businessmen do not run football clubs in a selfless fashion for the good of the clubs. If they did SDM would have paid for players out of his own pocket while he was putting down a tenner to Celtic's fiver. Instead he waited nearly a decade then cleared a large portion of the debt to increase the chances of him selling the club at a large profit. The fact that Murray does not take a salary does not mean he does not make money from the club year after year. Let's have a look at the net profit from this year and then compare it to next year's costs when the figures become available. Then tell me he's doing the best he can for the club as a whole, not just the balance sheet.
  15. Tell me that comment is tongue in cheek cal! It's hard to tell in black and white.
  16. I think a lot of Rangers fans have got a somewhat distorted memory in terms of Smith. He was good but seriously folks, let's not kid ourselves that he was anywhere near the level Hutton eventually reached and sustained. If he comes back half the player Hutton became we'll be lucky. If we sign another left back then clearly WS feels the lad isn't going to recover fully. Seriuos groin injuries are notoriously hard to get over.
  17. Aye it's great to be a bear. The King knows it. Unfortunately so did Alan Hutton. Heartbreak is never too far away while SDM gradually recoups his £50 mil and makes the club more attractive to potential buyers:ffs:
  18. Hmm, if a certain prolific goal scorer's name was Kristio Boydinho....
  19. Well I'm in a few minds about this Lafferty signing. Firstly I reckon its a huge outlay for someone that's unproven, but then I'm always on here banging on about scouting decent young players blah blah. Maybe he'll turn out to be a gem? Perhaps the best thing I'm taking from it and the thing that's put a smile on my face this morning is the fact that spending £3m on Lafferty shows to me that the talk of a £6m budget for the summer is rubbish. Like Cal said earlier, WS isn't daft. If he didn't have a decent wad left to spend on the areas of the team that need work then we wouldn't have made this signing. Failing with the earlier bid of £1.8 suggested we were on a tight budget and it looked like the scum were poised to outspend us again. So get it up them even if their fans probably felt the same way about the guy as we do at the moment. P.S Gutted about Klasnic but what can we do? There's more on the way folks, I think that is today's bottom line and I like it.
  20. Wait a minute.....that looks a decent attacking side.....! Still think the full back positions are weak though.
  21. Thuram and Cuellar? Come ahead ya bams!!!!
  22. I thought Gomis was the best non old firm player last season. He didn't play good against us, he was outstanding. Every time. He is extremely comfortable on the ball, fuck me he actually moves with the ball at his feet, and his first touch is superb. I'd like to see him and beasley fighting for LM. Adam and big Lee GTF.
  23. Pacy, skilful left winger. 23 yrs old. Bad knee injury a couple of years ago......
  24. clitoris allsorts. Great name. Mon the monthebears!!!!!!!
  25. If Davie Weir gets a game he'd need to be about 8 foot 9' to get his head on the punts:D
