Also please look back at the players Eck had at his disposal , compared to just now he had a much better squad to start with .

The only critiscism I have about our last spending spree was it came after Murray started to get personnal abuse and as usual he deflected it very well in his usual way , spending our money like a drunk in a bar . As for Big Eck , sorry but he was not to be trusted with money and you only need look at his team at the moment , they are being held together by Bosmans , his big money signings are not really doing the business IMHO .

Would we be able to move forward with just Europa league revenue , it is due to increase everyn that is the C/L , last ight they were saying hat Fulham could end up playing 19 games , if they made the final . Now surely we are good enough to get out the groups , 3 home games , and possibly 2 more group games , so the revenue from 5 home europa league games must fill i some of the gap . What we must avoid is the squad being top heavy again , very tricky I know .

When you get to this stage of the season and a team has a head of steam going , it is very unusual to start dropping points , maybe the case could be had , after the league is won and players relax , but I really feel the way this squad is performing we have no worries . We cannot go down the Arsenal route , they pay an absolute fortune on their young players , something we would never be able to afford . Better coaching and more time working with a ball would help , you kids are generally fit anyway so why we waste time running is beyond me , it should all be about ball control at least until 15 or 16 , fitness can always be worked on later , that's what the europeans believe from what I have seen and read

All the coaches at Ibrox have individual responsibility for coaching certain players and Ally has whittaker , he told a mate who plays with him for the old crocks , that he has all the ability in the world but struggles with concentration .
