  1. It will indeed be the same David Low you're thinking of. Celtic fanatic and season-ticket holder, former Celtic director, the architect of the bunnet's Celtic takeover, friend and associate of many a bitter Rangers hater. Dave King's not 'fit & proper' to be associated with Rangers, but David Low is 'fit & proper' to be invited to a Rangers Supporters Trust meeting dontcha know....

  3. So you hosted an RST meeting in your offices where with the approval of Stephen Smith, (but without informing the others attending?) you invited David Low, a well known Celtic supporter who's a friend of yours, but who's also known to associate and drink with the likes of Matt McGlone and other well-connected Rangers haters. No wonder Mark Dingwall objected. I'm surprised you and Stephen Smith thought it was a smart idea never mind appropriate. Anyway, moving back to the original point... Was this controversial incident related to the Jim McColl deal? Were you suggesting that the RST listen to advice or something from David Low regarding the McColl deal?
  4. Sadly, it's still commonplace to this day for blood test samples to get mixed up and for patients to be given a completely false diagnosis.
  5. Was there not something about you turning up at an RST meeting with a Celtic supporter or was that not related to the McColl deal?
  6. Let's be clear, your EGM voting was for Llambias & Leach to stay on the board and for none of Dave King & co's director appointment resolutions to pass. We don't need to get the wee violins out and hear a new rendition of your bizarre reasoning. The facts are very simple. No wonder that old Jim McColl deal fell through then, eh! :fish: Nah, seriously though, were you not involved in some sort of controversy regarding that Jim McColl deal? What was it again?
  7. Really nice tribute and beautifully made! Some great photos from Willie Vass here - Sandy Jardine statue 2nd April 2015 by Willie Vass

  11. There's a lot of good points there.
  12. Yes, including wrong conclusions again, again & again.....
  13. Let's at least try to be fair here. You don't know what Jim McColl's intentions were, are, or will be and neither do the rest of us!
  14. We could go even further and ask those in the know what the advantages vs disadvantages are of being listed (or not as the case might soon be).
  15. That's why I said "beyond a sensible level"......
  16. Unfortunately, the obvious and most realistic way to level out those peaks and troughs we experienced under the David Murray tenure is to try to live within our means and not gamble on success in the European competitions. More to the point, we shouldn't even be reliant on the revenue from European competitions beyond a sensible level because being reliant on Champions League revenue is suicidal in Scottish football these days with several qualifying rounds to negotiate.
  17. You might end up being correct, but I certainly wouldn't bet on it.
  18. Some direct and meaningful involvement from Jim McColl at some point in the future should be welcomed with open arms no matter what form it comes in. He'd be a fine addition to the Rangers boardroom and any money he chooses to invest would be most welcome because we're going to be needing a lot of it.
  19. That's the predictions thread now up for the Hearts game on Sunday, so get your predictions in between now and kick-off! Do it here - Predictions for Rangers v Hearts - Postponed Championship match 21 (now GPL game 42)
  20. It's working fine for me, but we have had this type of problem in the past due to the format of the title of a thread, so that's a possibility if anyone is still experiencing an issue.
  21. It's as clear as mud just like so many things which have happened over the past 3 to 4 years. Maybe it's not such a bad thing at the end of the day though because the services of Deloitte certainly weren't coming cheaply.
  22. Thats the latest Gersnet Prediction League results and standings tables now posted following Saturday's 4-1 win at Ibrox. You can check them out here - http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showthread...........
  23. If Deloitte resigned in June why was resolution 6 ("6. To re-appoint Deloitte LLP as auditors") voted on and passed at the AGM in December? Resolutions 1 & 7 were also related to the auditors ("1. To receive and adopt the audited accounts" and "7.To authorise the Directors to determine the remuneration of the auditors").
  24. Excuses excuses Kenny!
  25. That could easily be right because IIRC the figure mentioned for last season's TV money was about £80k.
