  1. The money won't be spare, it'll be needed to keep the lights on in January.
  2. Somers can't keep his position as Chairman much longer as he's not fit for purpose.
  3. That's the predictions thread up for the Dumbarton game, so feel free to post your predictions any time between now and kick-off on Saturday. Do it here - Predictions for Rangers v Dumbarton - SPFL Championship match 19 (GPL game 29)
  4. As promised last night, here's a quick GPL round-up plus the latest full results and standings tables following our embarrassing defeat at Easter Road. http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?67642-Predictions-for-Hibs-v-Rangers-SPFL-Championship-match-18-(GPL-game-28)&p=537984&viewfull=1#post537984
  5. There's some very important questions there, but I won't be holding my breath for answers.
  6. No problem Ian, just let me know either way and if you change your mind it's no worries too.
  7. Apologies for the delay with this, as I was really busy before Xmas, then away for a few days at Xmas, but here's the full GPL results and standings tables following this Livingston game: http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?67500-Predictions-for-Rangers-v-Livingston-SPFL-Championship-match-17-(GPL-game-27)&p=537928&viewfull=1#post537928 I'll get the results and standings tables for the Hibs game done tomorrow.
  8. Maybe Ashley wants Newcastle to get relegated again?
  9. Or sitting in the window of Cash Converters in Greenock.
  10. If Lewis Macleod gets sold in January we'll probably struggle to even get a play-off spot.
  11. Come on guys, quit the personal jibes please.
  12. I'd suggest that it's not particularly easy to be 'wide of the mark' when you happen to agree with the majority of someones' points.
  13. It was an obvious appointment, so not unexpected by any means.
  14. I think most folk here would agree with you mate, but despite the penny shares and other things which get thrown at the man, I do think he had the Club's best interests at heart even if he was wrong.
  15. I'm sure that all of us here would like a similar one, but I'm not so sure that we'd all essentially hold the Club to ransom over it. Club staff should get what they're entitled to, but there does come a point when a member of staff is taking the piss.
  16. In fairness, it has to be said that almost everything concerning the Club these days is confusing.
  17. Signing that rocket was definitely a low point.
  18. Correct Doc. The folk supposedly running the show don't give a toss and it's increasingly looking as though their paymasters don't either.
  19. Not sure if I'm reading too much into this or not, but lurking behind today's embarrassment at Easter Road there seemed to be a distinct aura of division in the stand-in management team of McDowall and Durie, but has there actually been a fall out, do they simply not get on or was it just a public display of unhappiness at the board's recent shake-up decisions? No matter what's going on, it would seem to me that if there's some disagreements and/or division amongst the coaching staff, then that is almost certainly going to have started causing problems in the dressing room. In this photo from Willie Vass, it's pretty clear to see that Jim Stewart appears to be acting as Kenny McDowall's assistant and that's only a single photographic glimpse of what we witnessed today, which seemed to be an unhappy and uncommunicative management team. 20. The Club ownership needs sorted out first before the directors otherwise we'll just see a continuation of the boardroom revolving door and musical chair games that have cost the Club a small fortune in pay-offs in only a little more than 18 months since Green & Ahmad 'left'. We need an owner or consortium of owners we can fully trust, followed by directors we can fully trust, an ambitious managerial appointment, a clear out of the first team playing squad and we need all of that to happen ASAP.
  21. The situation is definitely a lot worse than the directors have been letting on because there's no way the Ibrox staff Christmas party would've been cancelled and employees with decades of service punted without proper redundancy packages if we weren't in very serious trouble and right in the financial shitter again. It would be interesting to find out if December's payroll and bills have been paid yet.
  22. Just back today from a few days away, but hope you all had a great Christmas!
  23. Don't forget to post your predictions before kick-off at 12:15 today folks! Do it here - Predictions for Hibs v Rangers - SPFL Championship match 18 (GPL game 28)
  24. You might not be too far off the mark, although since only Durrant has been demoted, it might just be him who's the target. What I can't get my head around at all though, is why anyone would deem it appropriate to promote Jig to the coaching staff. I'm hoping I wake up in the morning and this has all just been a bad dream.
