I see what you're saying Calscot but I agree with Gribz to an extent too. When a player is off form he should be dropped/rested. Now, I'm not saying the likes of Buffel or Gow should get the dropped/rested players place but we have a squad strong enough with players that WS likes and trusts to do a job for us.

I'm excited about these 3 making their return for us. Webster has frustrated me. At times I thought we should've let him go cause there's been times when it never looked like he'd play for us again. He could be a real good player for us and he's still young. Also, with Weir as a tutor he can only improve. Don't really need to say much about Smith and Thomson. Everyone knows how good they both are. Hopefully the game goes ahead cause the rain is battering down and the wind is blowing a gale.

Reading his book about his counselling sessions, I personally believe as does Gazza that he wants to kick the habits and get better but he's battling with boredom and the demons in his head. It's easy for us to post on here saying things but does anyone know apart from addicts themselves how hard it is to give your addiction up?

I suppose you think he's the only manager to do it? Whatever he does, it works. It's about team spirit Jon. He'll defend his players in public but deal with the situation properly behind closed doors. He's an extremely clever man if you ask me.

Fuck me, all managers defend their team. You're having a go at Wenger for defending his team and saying what he did post match about the tackle. As Craig said it was in the heat of the moment. I'd like to see some of the reactions on here if someone snapped your leg, your mates leg etc. Every manager must be a hyprcrite then.
