  4. When their Dunfermline opponents have clocked up 77 appearances in League One between them it is clear any on this Rangers team should be able to make a contribution. This is a good batch and along with a few others who missed today's game through injury, at least half a dozen or so should be blooded before the end of the season.

  7. Yes this is certainly a positive, but how many people actually know what it means ? It has got nothing to do with how well the academy does in scouting or developing players. It is a confirmation that all the facilities and resources are in place that are needed to achieve six star status. The link gives the criteria for each category last season, don't think it wil have changed much http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/resources/documents/ClubLicensing/Part5:GeneralAppendix2013/A30%20Club%20Academy%20Scotland%20Minimum%20Criteria.pdf

  10. Possibly in a year or two, neither of them have played any significant time for Under 20's. That has to be their next target and if the continue scoring at that level next step would be the first team.

  12. With the level we are playing at all of these players should be able to play in the first team, not all at the same time of course.
  13. My report on the game http://rfcyouths.wordpress.com/2014/02/04/under-20s-remain-top/
  14. I have always said this is one of our better age groups. Under 19 Darren Ramsay and Under 18's Danny Stoney, Dylan Dykes, Greg Pascazio and Scott Roberts could also have made this squad if circumstances had been different. Darren has only recently been starting in the under 20's games, in Scott's case he has had a terrible time with injuries the last couple of years and the other three probably suffered from a lack of competitive game time. Another interesting stat from the squad is that Lewis Martin (Dunfermline Athletic), Mark O’Hara (Kilmarnock), Darren Petrie (Dundee United) & Gary Oliver (Heart of Midlothian) were all released by Mr Sinclair.
