    Someone said we were paying Ashley's PR firm £100k a month, till Nash knocked that on the head. How many months was it for? could that money have been used by Ashley as a down payment on the loan he is giving us?

    Just seen the first pics of Lliambias arriving at Glasgow Airport, I wouldn't say he's a Tank more a armoured personnel carrier.

    So not all bad then lol, I think he will be Ashley's Iron fist in a velvet glove, will hold his hand out for peace but if it's rebuffed i can foresee a few bannings coming to certain parties, and not just in the Mhedia but within the Bears.

    My Newcastle friends have told me the Toon Army didn't like Llambias because he was Ashley's stick to beat them with, Chris Mort was more the carrot. Could be some fireworks in the pipeline up here then?

    We don't know for sure what King spent (if anything) on buying Shares, but on the surface it looks like the old adage can be used here for King attempts . "For want of a nail the horse was lost, for want of a horse a Kingdom was lost"

    Two good men leave and two, no make that three , balloons remain on the board. The gruesome twosome and Somers have really served the purpose and overstayed their welcome now. If Ashley wants to get some dialogue going with the support he really needs to get those muppets to fall on their swords, or just thrust the swords into their backs.

    We are in the hands of Mike Ashley, what he does now will go down in history. He can either run us prudently and stabilize the club, then make us a force again. Or rape the fook out the club, Legend or villain, history awaits him.

    Ashley doesn't need to own us, when he's already running the club. he's done it on the cheap and sly/ However we need to deal with that reality imo. Give peace a chance.

    I agree Hildy, no one is saying the SOS or the UOF should let their guard down, but i think we should open up some dialogue with Ashley or his representatives., what have we got to lose? At least if we give Ashley some little time to show his hand, we can say at least we tried to jaw jaw before we went to war war on him. I wanted king to prevail but it looks like it's not to be? we can all boycott and stop buying merchandise till the club is back in administration again, but you just know when we have been put through the Wringer again, the same faces will still be there. Time for a new strategy imo, we didn't win the war so let's win the peace.

    Time to sup with the devil imo, we can continue with hostilities but where has that got us to date? I admire the SOS and the UOF for their great efforts in trying to thwart Ashley. But i think we need to draw breadth and reevaluate the situation now, lets see what transpires and try and get some dialogue going with Ashley. As a support we need to get into that tent with the board, and start pissing out, preferable over the heads of the Tims trying to peek in it.

    No joined up thinking here, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. They should have had a coordinated strategy , instead of everyone firing off in all directions. Let's hope Kennedy has a more coordinated battle plan, maybe a new Fab Four of George, Paul, Dave and Brian?

    If that's accurate? Then there's some hope of a deal being struck here. Ashley wouldn't be talking to King unless there's a deal to be struck imo, hopefully Ashley can see the benefit in a mutual respectful deal where both Rangers and Sports Direct can make make a profit going forward. Or we have a situation where a MAD, Mutually Assured Destruction. pack is invoked, surely to fook no one wants that?

    Ashley would prefer we stay in a coma in intensive care, so he can keep us alive and keep stealing our body parts for free.

    Ashley imo has absolutely no intentions of letting his prime asset NUFC suffer any sort of damage, collateral or otherwise. We are a side issue for him, his focus is mainly creaming Newcastle of their profits, which are massive in comparison to ours. He's got our retail contract stitched up, if we are still rolling on, even with two wheels on our wagon, he gains. He's not going to invest millions just to get his hands on a few more measly pounds of our flesh. If he is as shrewd as seams he operates, he will know to cut a new deal is best for him ,best for Rangers and saves him splashing out millions on owning us for a little more gain.

    If the onerous retail contracts are renegotiated in a more favourable deal towards the club and less favourable to Sports Direct. I think that could be a workable relationship between Rangers and Ashley, could even be a start to a happy relationship between the two parties?

    I used to post on Bills blogs, back in the day when he was funny and his agenda was geared against the Tims. Stopped posting when i saw his agenda turn against the supporters who were against the Wigs, like the UOF, when they came along, same with the SOS. You didn't have to be a genius to work out his strings are being pulled by the Toxic Troll. When King takes over and If Merlin behaves himself, and starts on the Tims again rather than other Bears. iI'llgo back to his blogs and feed him some of my banter again lol

    No, the story was genuine. But the story was plagiarised, as it had been told before in the newspapers back when it allegedly happened.
