Confirmed: Mike Ashley has doubled his stake in Rangers.
aweebluesoandso replied to SteveC's topic in Rangers Chat
Forget about King, i have lost all faith in him. Ashley for good or bad looks like the man in the driving seat. We can keep battling him or work with him? I'm to tired now to worry any more.- 212 replies

Make a formal complaint to Police Scotland, as a Rangers shareholder you were the victim of fraud by Craig Whyte and associates.

I don't the rules of the ticket allocation, but it seams to me every other club can decide what they give us for a league game. As demonstrated by Hearts, if we as a club decide to reduce the Tims number to say a few thousand, and put them in the Govan corner, how could the police complain about reduced numbers of visiting fans. Plus putting them where visiting fans go, i'm sure if the club make the decision. Why would the police argue about the threat of trouble being lessened and an easier to police event?

I see Hearts have vastly reduced our allocation of tickets for their home game against us next month. No reason then why we can't do it against the Dhims. http://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football/hearts/ticket-boost-for-jambos-as-rangers-quota-slashed-1-3561490

If only they would stop soap dodging and start washing, this sort of thing wouldn't happen.

STV Reporting both Boyd and Mohsni offered suspensions
aweebluesoandso replied to 26th of foot's topic in Rangers Chat
Boyd and Mohsni should accept the punishment and learn from it. But there is clearly a case against both the Hivs players too, why no punishment for them or is it just our players that's of interest to the compliance officer? -

This not about Rangers supporters travelling to away grounds, but rather a plea to Alan from this Rangers supporter about celtic supporters visiting Ibrox. Alan Would it be possible for you and your fellow fans board members, to impress on the Rangers board to sort out the ticket allocation numbers given to celtic fc, allowing their fans to takeover and commandeer the whole of the Broomloan stand when there is a derby match between our two clubs. I understand the allocation of tickets between them and us, is a mutually agreed amount, roughly equal in numbers? However when our support are visiting Parkhead they are put away out of sight in the cheap seats and rarely seen by the cameras, unless we score, which to be fair is a lot., but that is not my point. Compare and contrast their exposure when the camera's from Sky and probably BT Sport now, broadcast from Ibrox? The celtic support are given a greater prominence, being right behind the goal and with a full Broomloan. We as a club and support must redress the imbalance of this exposure and reclaim the Broomloan when those people come calling. I know this subject has been discussed on other forums and i think on here? Supporters have written to the club about this imbalance without any agreement, but with the new Fans board and another season before we are hopefully back in the top division. Now would be a ideal opportunity to tackle this question with the full board. My ideal solution would to be to drastically reduce their numbers for league games and put them in the Govan corner where visiting fans are already put. For cup games where tickets numbers are strictly set and by the SPFL and SFA, then some other alternative spot in Ibrox could be arranged, like the Albion Car Park with large screens beam-back facility.

Can i add my congratulations to FS and BH on getting their blazers lol No really, well done to you both. -
This exactly where the Nationalist arguments went to mush for me, the were denigrating Westminster, proclaiming political freeeeedom. But were prepared to give most those freedoms away and put on a financial straitjacket in the Euro currency. I t seamed to me freedom from the UK for them was worth signing away their freedom to a European political elite run by Germany and France.

Ffs the way it's being portrayed you thought people had been murdered. Someone swore at someone and bottles were thrown from both sides from what i can make out online. However I utterly condemn the threats , shouting, swearing and bad behaviour of any form. That would have been considered a quiet night in Easterhouse back in the day.

I don't know many Rangers supporters who aren't disillusioned atm, nearly all their disillusion's are because of the financial position we are in and the continued asset stripping ongoing in front of their eyes, also by the fissures between various supporters groups. But I can honestly say in the Rangers pubs and club i regularly visit i don't hear Rangers supporters saying they are disillusioned by the Masons, Orange Order, the supporter's singing, or song repertoire, their loyalty, staunchness, nor the supporters behaviour, apart from their annoyance when the pyro throwers were in attendance at away games, now hopefully stopped. You will always get the odd supporter like the OP who find their paths take the less trodden road than the mainstream Bear. We are a broad family and i wouldn't say the Op is wrong, just his views differ to mine, i love the traditions i was brought up in and that will never change, I've have moderated my language somewhat in my old age, but i still hate those who hate our club, it's support and culture.

How about adapting Gilbert and Sullivan's He is an English man to, He is an British man He is an Britishman For he himself has said it, And it's greatly to his credit, That he is an Britishman That he is an Britishman For he might have been a Roosian, A French, or Turk, or Proosian, Or perhaps Irishman But in spite of all temptations To belong to other nations, He remains an Britishman He remains an Britishman- 5 replies

I'm a member of SOS and i wont be voting on this, i don't like this board nor their asset stripping. But to encourage others to boycott when i cant even make my own mind up is daft tbo. However by Friday i will be clearer on a decision, I don't see Independence going well for Rangers future imo. On the other hand it could be a positive? If Berwick Rangers who reside in England remain in the SFA, then our club could ask for a dispensation from the FA and start again in the English leagues.

I don't want the board to receive any money, i would rather the RFFF paid for a paint job and wash for the stadium. Or something that directly benefits the club, rather the putting the money into any boards hands.
