As much as I valued Boyd's goals - better players have come and gone. We've signed an experienced striker and two very promising talents who, in my opinion, will make a Boyd a distant memory. Not even the biggest of Boyd's fans will raise the issue of him leaving us.

Was thinking the same thing earlier today. Great talent on our hands - hopefully we become extremely rich so we can afford him once his loan term is up. (doubtful). Long may it continue!

My thoughts too. Although Croatia are not part of the EU yet. perhaps that's the problem though, I am sure other European countries that aren't EU members don't need permits either. Just like Turkey players don't need permits, I think?

I was one of the few who never criticised Bain, mainly because I was, and still am, unsure of his exact duties. That said, I was always of the opinion Bain was Murray's lap dog who showed loyalty to his employer. Nothing wrong with that, but Murray hired him just at a time when we were doing poorly and effectively made Bain a scapegoat, to a certain extent. Since Murray 'stepped down' as chairman, Bain has been a completely different person.

Real Madrid would be tasty. Some the world's best players and the 'special one' coming to Ibrox would be fantastic. I don't hold out much hope for us in the CL so the bigger the better please.

I agree with 4-5-1 turning to a 4-3-3 when attacking in Europe. Not sure of the exact personal though. Can see Naismith getting a chance again.

His goals for NI were against minnows whose defence would perceived as poorer than SPL's defences. You see talent in Lafferty but not Fleck?

With Beattie signed and Jelcavic all but signed, who will be our front pairing? Moreover, what formation will Walter use in the CL? Is this a sign that Miller is going? I'd rather we kept him - he was one of our most influetial players last year and has had a great pre-season, moreover, he got off to a scoring start on Saturday. With Weiss signing has Lafferty become a meagre squad player who'll be sold to the first bidder? I wouldn't miss him if he goes. Fleck, has great potential and his attitude has improved somewhat, but where does this leave him in the pecking order? I'd really like him to get more opportunities to see if he can fulfil his talent. Naismith, another forward that has became a winger stroke centre midfielder, yet he scored regularly at Killie. Not sure if he'll ever be good enough to play in midfield regularly. Some tough but healthy choices ahead for Walter!

Before the season began and we started to buy, I was always confident we had a better starting 11 than the orcs. Now that we're adding to the squad with some quality, I am even more confident that we are on course for destination 54. Good times ahead, folks!

Where's the money came from? We were told not so long ago that we had none and the young guns were the future. Now the young guns don't seem to have much of a look in.

France's coach is a weird one, however, no player is bigger than their club or country. If it was one our players I'd want them banned for life.
