I had made up my mind not to respond to any more of your posts but I simply cannot allow that to pass without a response. You of all people know full well that the last person on this earth who would be timid, not "look for responsibility or accountability" nor fail to hold "the board accountable"; would be me. You need have no fears in that respect.

There are 12 members on the fans board and I have no doubt that each will choose there questions carefully. I can confirm that I have just now asked for the invitation to be extended to Mr Ashley.

I certainly do agree that it is relevant to ask about the Directors views of fans (and the Fans Board) and there are a number of such examples, that might make such questions pertinent. As I said, let's see what transpires over the next 3 weeks before deciding about the most pressing issues; but at the moment I would think that long term finance is high on the list.

You might well think so, but I couldn't possibly say any more than his arrival seems like an interesting coincidence. However, perhaps it's just a long weekend to see us at Dumbarton and Cowdenbeath.

All the Directors have been asked to attend and I have suggested that Mr Ashley is invited as well; questions will have to be very carefully chosen IMO and there is a lot of water to flow under the bridge between now and then. Those comments will have to been in the light of subsequent events. I would suggest that provided there is no suggestion of impropriety, it would be more pertinent to ask about his plans for the future than how he got the job (assumimg he gets it), which is fairly obvious.

He took care to get bedded down straight after dinner and didn't get up again till about 10 mins before landing then shot off and was first or second through passport control; he was obviously in a hurry to get on with something; perhaps he was getting the 9.00am back?

I can confirm he flew in because he was in the seat behind me. I reminded him that I asked him to fix the socks back to the black and red tops when they had been changed to blue and white (or might have been the red and black tops) (before he became Chairman) and he said that was easier to do than fix Rangers current problems. Beyond that and few other comments about past and present events that would be unfair to publish, I have no idea why he is here. I'll leave that to the conspiracy theorists.

Did Mr Johnson jet into Glasgow at 6.20am today onboard United 161 with only carry on luggage because he was one of the lucky few to get a ticket for the cup tie at Dumbarton or did he have other things on his mind?

The elections for Office Bearers are being conducted by Rev MacQuarrie on a confidential basis; the candidates will not be declared until the ballot papers are issued at the beginning of the meeting on the 26th of November; and the election itself will be by secret ballot.
