  1. And we have another thing to be extremely proud of on Saturday, but more anon............
  2. Given where we are right now in terms of leagues and cash, wouldn't you accept Moshni, Faure, Jig and pick one from the others? I think you may be under-rating McAusland, albeit not tested against decent opposition but not his fault. Hegarty has been played out of position most of the time but did looked very nervous at CB at the end of last season and made three mistakes in a row in one game, can't remember who against. Agreed Cribari and Perry can go.
  3. There is absolutely no reason for the inclusion of this sentence other than as point scoring since the accepted 5% of Artemis is sufficient to call the meeting. Exactly a month has now elapsed since the requisition was first put on the table and the failure to agree on how to proceed says nothing favourable about either camp.
  4. Not sitting on the fence then! So would you abolish it altogether or make it commercial?
  5. Forgot about him as well. So we have 8 CB's right now in the squad (and there's also Daly who could play there in an emergency), even with two injured, at least two of them have to go.
  6. I think a lot of people would agree with that but then you would lose a lot of good things, like drama productions and in depth reporting such as on Newsnight at the same time.
  7. Wait for it; both sides will blame each other for being "unreasonable" and incurring the additional "unnecessary" expense, meanwhile we are a laughing stock.
  8. He may well be a good player but do we really need him? Faure has been playing very well and likes to pass the ball out of defence and Mohsni must be his starting partner, then we have Cribari, jig, Hegarty, Perry, McAusland, how many more do we need?
  9. They'll struggle if that's his idea of a team with Young and Giggs ahead of those three.
  10. Terrible watching McGregor and Aluko playing for that lot.
  11. How can he have three of his most creative players on the bench: Hernandez, Nani, Valencia, with Rooney not in the team?
  12. Who did it?
  13. Newcastle are p***, must be one of the poorest EPL teams of those who aspire to top six or even top half.
  14. Banning the BBC or indeed any journalist is self-defeating. It just makes us look small and narrow minded. If they write or broadcast stuff that is factualy inaccurate or obviously biased or unbalanced then there are ways to complain as has been said (the more detailed the better), which means that they have to spend time replying to the complaint, which IS a waste of time and money, too much of that and their bosses in London WILL soon sit up and take notice.
  15. So censor the BBC?
  16. No it doesn't, it gives US bad publicity.
  17. Shocking!!
  18. Did you buy your shirts out of my uncle's shop Marti's next to Barrowland?
  19. This was done last week in my thread Full team and the only real issue seems to be Forster or McAusland at RB and Clark or Little with Daly or Templeton or Mackay behind him. As you say going to be a fair number sitting in the stands and those that aren't offloaded in the next two days may well be off in January.
  20. Rangers played League Cup Finals at Celtic Park in 1994, 1997 and 1999 winning them all against Hibs (2-1) , Hearts (4-3) and St Johnstone (2-1). Celtic played League Cup Finals at Ibrox in 1995 (losing to Raith Rovers on penalties after a 2-2) and beating Dundee Utd 3-0 in 1998. Rangers beat Aberdeen 2-1 at Celtic Park in the 1992 Scottish Cup Final and lost to 2-1 to Hearts in the 1998 Final. I'm sorry but I don't see the issue here. We have a good record in Cup Finals at Celtic Park and all the better to win a final there in my opinion. They will get a fee for the use of the ground as we would in reverse, so what. Surely the most important thing is to win the Cup, not where the final is played.
  21. Not even when we are back in the SPFLP?
  22. Do you not go to see Celtic v Rangers?
  23. With the greatest of respect, there's a world of difference between Alex McLeish and John McClelland, I doubt either would aspire to the other's jobs. Whilst it is clearly axiomatic that what evidence (apart from his record at Rangers, which is obviously subject of debate as seen in this thread) do you have that he has been "grossly incompetent" in the world of business or NGO's?
  24. 4-0 here too. Templeton, Clark, McLeod & McCulloch (header from corner).
