    I hate the guy in that hooped shirt but with Scotland it's different....does that qualify him as a great? Oh shite what did I just say? Seriously though and off topic slightly, when Broon played with Hibs along with Thomson and both were up for grabs we got Thomson they got Broon - at the time I thought, Result! Football, as someone once said "it's a funny old game".

    26th...I always enjoy your input, another fine read and yes "Bhoy in Corduroy" is a superb description of those who work on BBC Scotland and "Rheinhart Gordon" brought on a smile to my face, my wife who was sitting across the room asked me, whilst reading this on the laptop, what I was smiling at, I just made up something she isn't into football at all.

    Wallace came on and did what Whittaker failed to do...a burst down the field a one two and a fine left foot shot just wide of the far post. I like Whittaker but Wallace is a far better player...

    Summary: I wasn't particularly excited about this game tonight but Scotland played well and Macedonia were very poor. I actually gave the Mrs and the cat a fright when I jumped up at the Lee Wallace effort at the death, pity it never went in would have been icing on the cake for all Bears. Typical run with the ball from Lee and pass to Naismith while continuing his run to receive the return - just past the far post. 90 mins of football and I scare the wife and cat on 92.
