  1. ...but then again, it's Scotzine - maybe those were not his words, in fact why believe any of it?
  2. Lol..right enough, probably nearer the truth.
  3. Interesting that outside the timmy players in the squad there are only TWO players representing the SPFL Premiership. Who was it that said 'these exciting times' when speaking of the top SPFL division?
  4. Those 3 came on but made little difference, agree though they should always be first picks if fit.
  5. A collision with Phil Jones during training on Saturday.
  6. That is very newsworthy, pity none of the media up here (or anywhere else in the UK) bothered to pick up on it. Thanks for the information Anchorman.
  7. Lesson learned from that 'error'.
  8. Johnny Ionta's must have made a fortune doing 'Perry Como' haircuts 'cos that's what everyone went in for. I lived above 'The Victory Bar' and went to all the games on their bus...Orr Street - 'demand a Milanda'
  9. My first visit to the piggery was as a very young lad in the late 60's to watch Rangers bt C**t* 4-2 in a league match in which Willie Johnston scored a double, my 2nd game was against Aberdeen in a Scottish Cup sf the same season, me and my pal lived just along the road in the Gallowgate and got a lift over, It was around this time that made my mind up who my favourite player was. Rangers won 6-1 with Bud netting three, Jim Forrest scored for the sheep btw. I've not been to that ground for a long time, but if we reach the final I'll go...I don't expect anyone to lift me over though.
  10. Final result: Liverpool 1 MU 0, scorer (who else) Sturridge.
  11. Teams: Liverpool: Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Jose Enrique, Gerrard, Lucas, Henderson, Aspas, Coutinho, Sturridge Subs: Brad Jones, Alberto, Sterling, Ibe, Kelly, Flanagan, Wisdom. Manchester United: De Gea, Jones, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Carrick, Cleverley, Young, Giggs, Welbeck, van Persie Subs: Anderson, Smalling, Lindegaard, Hernandez, Nani, Valencia, Buttner.
  12. Moyes had this to say...he has suffered a cut on his forehead and will have 'no chance' of featuring for England in their forthcoming World Cup qualifiers.
  13. I juggled my team squad too without using my wildcard. Got rid of Jelavic and others costing me points so I could afford Rooney, just heard he got injured in training and won't play today
  14. I'm disappointed with his contribution so far...hopefully I'll be eating my words soon.
  15. If it's Hart, Zabaleta and Yaya Toure then you'll be top of your league right now I reckon
  16. Rangers winning the European cup was a serious belief in those days, it was a matter of time, well it was for me.
  17. Does the working day include taking in a football match, or do they sit in an office all day and chat?
  18. Todays early kick-off Man City vs Hull City team news: Man City Hart, Zabaleta, Kolarov, Nastasic, Lescott, Fernandinho, Toure, Silva, Aguero, Dzeko, Navas Subs: Pantilimon, Clichy, Negredo, Milner, Nasri, Garcia, Jovetic Hull City McGregor, Figueroa, Chester, Davies, Elmohamady, Huddlestone, Koren, Livermore, Brady, Aluko, Graham. Subs: Harper, McShane, Bruce, Rosenior, Meyler, Boyd, Quinn. Allan McGregor has started well for Hull but can he stop an angry MC team after their 2-3 defeat to Cardiff last week? I doubt it.
  19. Don't remember it being like that in 1986 but fast forward 25 years and it's very obvious today.
  20. ...Continuing on with the 'off topic' trend...I sure hope we don't meet THEM this season, even if van Persie was wearing the No. 9 shirt for us we'd still get slaughtered. Back on topic: Kenny Miller? NO!
  21. Unless we show the same team togetherness and ambition then that won't matter.
  22. A few games? I'd bite your hand off for that mate.
