In many ways it is still somewaht bizarre that some people believe that "an investor" will happen by and pump money into the club, as if we were living in the "one chairman rules everything" days. The ways of "pumping money" into the club are quite restricted and we sure won't want to breach the financial regulations which are now in place.

May I ask ... what is the point of this "motion"? I really can't fathom what he intents here or why it is need to raise this in parliament? -

Morelos was "wriggling" free of his opponent. We see this umpteen times per game, probably today too. Yet, the benchmakr for Moreos reactions is set rather low with refs, who fail to even book Smith (?) who went into Barasic's attempted shot with a straight leg unto his ankle ... and did not even award a foul. -

How many points is Morelos away from a suspension? Any OF games coming up? -

It is those games that you don't really play well for 90 mins but win that secures titles. Should have buried them in the first half and got what usullay happens in such tight games, that the oppositions throws people forward. Helped by a ref that went absolutely out of order for the last 20 mins. Not even a foul when Barisic got floored, yet a yellow for Defoe for next to nothing and Morelos for "reacting" to a foul on him ... that wasn't yellowed either. Pass marks for Jack, Kent and Barisic, most done their job and I stopped counting how often Kamara and Jack saved Tavernier's blushes when the captain was somewhere way off his defensive slot or calmly trotting back. Special praise for the BT co-commentators (Craigan?), for they were as inept as it gets, praising the anti- or hack-them-down footie of Accies while auto-repeating Kent`s value when he did get something done. Pathetic ... Sidenote ... can't for my life understand why Stewart warms the bench in places like this. The Aribo and Arfield combination rarely works and Stewart sure has the invention, technique and shooting ability to lay teams like Accies low. 6 games till the new year, 4 of which away to the scum teams of the league. That will be "fun" ... -

Methinks at the time it was explained that HMRC will probably have send him their demands, although it was said that they have a certain allowance period anyway. They would then send a few demands and after 6 months or so, they would arrive in force and person, which they did. That was essentially roundabout the time he declared admin. Whether that was the case, I assume it will be very hard to prove that HMRC acted deliberately. What begs the question though is the demand remarked upon in the article I posted above, where he had enforcers seemingly chasing before he even set a foot inside Ibrox. And if that was the case, why did no-one at HMRC made this public or came to him during his first few days of his ill-fated reign? Those are questions that spring immediately to mind and without being an investigative mastermind ... -

I would assume that Morelos is on many a clubs' radar or wish list. -
If the scorers were Tavernier, Docherty and Stewart in a 3-0 scoreline, where does Cameron come in? EDIT: some bit rbr did not post: ID 10 via FF Centre forward, unattached right now. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/cameron-gascoigne/profil/spieler/724954

Stevie_4lads remarked on FF that we had him and Shankland watched by scouts, as well as other players. Normal practise. Likewise, numerous scouts were watching our friendly against Leicester, a handful to seemingly check out Docherty. -

What was and still is baffling - HMRC likewise never blocked or even attempted to chase Whyte when he walked on British soil again? https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ex-rangers-owner-craig-whyte-being-3992415 Given the amount of info leaked by HMRC since 2012, it is rather curious that nothing about this came out in 2011/2012 ... and IMHO leads to the conclusion that it might have been withheld at the time for heinous reasons. -

The BTC rubbish was in full swing long before SDM sold us to Whyte. Why is it that BDO are seemingly successful here and OldCo failed or never tried? To argue this is because HMRC now agrees that they will possibly not get the full amount anyway is one way of explaining it. But after spending millions to go to the virtually very last possible court they now also accept less money? Did anyone ever attempt a Freedom of Information inquest about how much money HMRC had to pay here? Thing is, the Times would most likely have not burned their fingers with this without some fire behind the smoke. But where their info comes from and how valid it is remains to be seen. -

Some whispered rumours on FF that Palace are willing to pay 11m for Kamara while SG supposedly looks to secure Pedro Chirivella as early as January, and he's a freebie next summer. This is a Spanish CM aged 22 -> https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/pedro-chirivella/profil/spieler/242273 You can decide on the amount of salt you apply to this by yourself. -

Am I right to assume that it was The (English) Times that broke the story and that they would be rather hesitant to write articles not backed up by facts and more detailed information? Especially when it goes against HMRC? -

Given how strange the law system in Britain / Scotland deals and dealt with our case (be it admin / HMRC / Whyte or Sports Direct), you would have hope that this would be done in the US. There sure would be lawyers about chasing HMRC et al from pillar to post for damages new and old. -

Sidenote ... Kamara`s slot in midfield is one that Jack, Davis, King and Docherty play in, two of these players have virtually been on stand-by all season. Next season, Ross McCrorie is back too, even though he mostly plays right fullback while on loan, methinks. -

Essentially, that is the business model that we probably work on and with. Scan for talent, grow it and sell it on. Up until we get serious money from Europe. Fact of life in Scotland. And naturally we don`t want to loose our most talented players. If someone really happens by with 8m, I would hazard a guess that the board and SG will speak with one another. 8m or the like will make this a decision for Kamara alone, IMHO, rather than the club`s. -
