  1. why would the official site tell us that someone rejected the job? not something they would normally advertise.
  2. I'm not suggesting we go after this guy btw . This helps explains it http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/revealed-birmingham-sacked-gary-rowett-9463699
  3. Now that isn't telling the whole story at all is it. Birmingham were actually doing very well at the time and only 1 point off the playoffs. They punted him and hired Zola in his place and they have been in free fall ever since and currently find themselves in 14th place now. They are missing him a lot. However out of all those candidates I have no idea who would be idea. Not convinced any of them fill me with great hope but only time will tell. Hopefully we have someone that is willing to look for players outwith england and the lower leagues down there.
  4. So we need a new manager as soon as possible. What's that 1 league win in the last 7? Hard times.
  5. Yeah this is going to be painful, the raith interchange under pass will be opening on Thursday. Yay for some progress somewhere in all this roadwork BS
  6. unlikely as he only just started his new job on the 1st January
  7. warburton saying he hasn't resigned and is unaware of the statement, wtf?
  8. Hugely disappointing if that is true. We need to be nurturing these players and cashing in on them at 22-24 years of age. That needs to be our business model, I hope he sees sense and realises he need games when he is older.
  9. he was doing well for Brentford and then got a really bad injury which has ruled him out for the season. They even extended his contract for another year after he got injured. He has just been very unlucky with his injuries
  10. Don't think we'll lose him. He would be stupid to leave, this is his first season ever in the top flight and struggled for form to start with. If he has any sense he'll stay for a few years and build up consistency. He is far from the finish article.
  11. at the beginning of the year i genuinely thought we would finish 3rd or 4th. sadly that looks about right.
  12. I think the fact we are sitting second after such a turbulent start to the season is reason for great optimism. If we can put any sort of consistent run together then 2nd place should be achievable with some ease.
  13. ffs the guy is out buying groceries. real shame these idiots can't leave people alone away from the pitch. quite surprised he shops in asda tbh
  14. at this moment in time our wide players aren't scoring anyway so he isn't doing anything different from the others in that respect
  15. maybe he did fail a medical then after something was reportedly found with his knee
  16. i've often wondered if it would be worth while just playing tav on the right wing with hodson behind him with waggy in the middle. We never seem to really know what to do with the right hand side of attack changes game to game.
  17. either way we should be better off this weekend with him out the team for a bit
  18. Breaking on daily record, waiting on them to publish the report. Keith Jackson twitter http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rangers-star-joey-barton-banished-8843460
  19. makes you think gasparotto couldn't have done any worse really. he always got great reviews out on loan
  20. It just seems to me that we have signed players that do not fit the system we want to play. We lost what 7-8 players at the tale end of last season? We have needed to replace them based on a tiny budget and it looks to me we have just had to resort to bringing in whatever was available which has especially impacted the heart of the team. I think if there was say any decent amount of cash available then we don't sign Barton, Krancjar, Hill or Senderos. Also Andy Halliday must be thinking what the hell has he done to lost his place in the team. By far deserves his starting place until the other prove they are fit enough and worthy enough of their places.
  21. total utter idiots on both sides lets not kid ourselves. We must all know decent people who support them, i know i do. Can't tar an entire support for any team across the world with the same brush. Some of teh above though is disgusting.
  22. you know from the word go this season (preseason) we rotated the squad massively which i think looking bad was a terrible decision especially since we have been trying to bed in so many new players. Ironically out of all the signings we have made it looks like Windass and possible Crooks (based on press down south last year) might turn out to be the best ones. I think Garner will come good but you have to wonder what MOH has to do to get a run of games under his belt. Frustrating as it has been of late I do think that we have a team capable of making top 3 easy but MW needs to stop kidding himself thinking we can rotate week on week. Players need to get used to playing together and gelling. That has not been happening, the team has changed too much game to game. I agree with what I have read so far that I would drop Barton, he just hasn't understood how we play, he always drops too deep for my liking and always slows the game. We should probably look at Halliday, Rossiter and Holt/Windass. I would mention Crooks in there and you would think we could beneift from his and windass having played together previously but at this rate he will be playing centre halve since kiernan is out of his depth. Hopefully we'll start to see Waghorn back as well and finally put some sort of starting 11 out of the pitch week in week out that can get results. I am optimistic for the future and bigger and better Rangers teams have taken bigger batterings and move forward and no doubt we will too. Mon the Gers
  23. Garner a waste of money after a match and half ha ha. Bloody hell you're hard to please.
