  1. The question I must ask is who sold/ informed the sun about the picture? They didn't just happen to come across a random picture!
  2. Europe this season was a disaster, simple as that. Its a massive part of our club and the fashion in which we went out this year was awful as a supporter. However, as much as I am gutted we allowed them anywhere near 1st place, we had to take a dip in form at one point this year. Celtic had theirs earlier in the season and now we have (I hope) went through ours so it should be interesting battle. There is no denying that so far I have been disappointed with Europe, allowing Celtic closing the gap and our some of signings to be questionable but I certainly do believe that we could still go on and win the double.
  3. I would like both signed up. I'm sure I read somewhere that Papac is our 2nd longest serving player only behind McGregor? Just hope that the player himself would like to stay.
  4. I really hoped we wouldn't get an SPL club. Its all so tiresome playing the same teams constantly and then in the cup competitions too. Arbroath was an excellent change IMO and even a trip to Livingston or Morton would have been my preference.
  5. A lot of people I have been speaking to would like to see this section in Copland front but I just dont see that being realistic whatsoever. Whoever is responsible for this trial IF it happens, has a tonne of issues to consider and I am certain they wont please everyone.
  6. I would get rid of a few mentioned if it allowed us to bring in players of equal or better quality than players in that current position. Fleck and Healy IMO are just a waste of a wage. If Fleck cant get a game when both Naismith and Lafferty are injured then what hope does the boy have at all?
  7. According to my university lecturer it was £2.7m for us, £2.4m for celtic and the closest below that was Dundee utd with £1.5m
  8. I'm quite gutted about this! Would have been a great trip for a 3 ko on a Saturday. Instead tele ruins it again.
  9. Definitely agree, although I sometimes forget his age and the fact that he has been involved in the first team from 16. Still not an excuse for him!
  10. I keep reading that its a good thing for Scottish football and could be the start of our game picking up. But if this was the case then surely the CB would have been quite keen to continue the sponsorship? Only time will tell if there is going to be a bigger sponsorship than we currently get. A thought I had is to get the fans back into the stands, games should have a delay on them so no game is shown live until after a certain time. This would obviously only be able to happen if the SKY/ESPN deal wasn't going to happen.
  11. Someone needs a big heart and a big wallet to even consider buying Hearts. Or plain stupid.
  12. For a few years now, I have started to become increasingly bored watching CL games. I have no interest, especially past the group stages when some underdogs are knocked out. I would really like to see the format change, possibly in the group stages to freshen it up. Thoughts anyone?
  13. Welcome to our world! Its a sad day when fans who have travelled for hours to get to Aberdeen, dont see the rest of the game for simply standing. A few weeks back the entire Rangers end were standing for 90 minutes without an issue, but I suppose its easier to step into 20 fans opposed to 2000.
  14. Maybe its about time he proves why he has been kept on for so long when other youngsters have been sent elsewhere.
  15. If we can get him on a relatively small fee, I dont see the issue in not paying Aberdeen some cash. To me, it seems that there is something wrong in the rules if a player can leave and still be linked back to a previous club.
  16. I met Jamie Ness in my hospitality suite on Saturday and during the Q&A session he stated that he was fit but lacked match time. He did also say that he's had a terrible time with injuries. He has the same issues that I have with one leg longer than the other. This obviously means that the difference is being compensated for on the other leg, but he is meant to be wearing special boots to try and help that.
  17. I think he certainly makes sure he is heard and I just hope he shows the same bit of loyalty that we did by pursuing him for so long. Yeah I remember the quotes by Papac and I certainly hope he is correct. I think Jela might want to play CL for us, if that ever happens again!
  18. My main concern about Jela is the way in which he forced a move to us and the potential for him to do the same again. I would be gutted to see him leave in January but every player has their price.
  19. I'm looking forward to this game, should be a decent away trip! I just hope we get a 3 ko and not a 12 on the Sunday. Not going to get my hopes up.
  20. I'm sure I read that we were quoted that just getting the screens seen was £14,000! Not something a team in trouble would surely splash out on?
  21. Hope he is back playing soon! I mean who else will be linked with us every transfer window?
  22. I enjoy family guy too much on bbc3 to boycott completely. If I am perfectly honest I dont watch much on the bbc at all but not sure the difference that it will make.

    Jan Wouters

All the best to him! I've been to Utrecht and its quite a scary place.
  24. Yeah this was due to availability of Thomas Cook flights during the busier holiday period. That flight was cancelled due to lack of interest (I wonder why?!) and those who paid for the trip were put on the official team flight. Surely they would have learned their lesson from there that it is too expensive for fans? £395 for the overnight package is just a bit too much for me to spend, especially so close to Christmas time. Although independent travel may be a better option for most people, despite the lack of direct flights to Hamburg.
