  1. Thanks for the replies folks. I just signed up to the RST scheme. No other reason that I just like the way they were pro active yesterday and immediately sought legal advice, I fully support that. I hope both schemes continue to flourish.
  2. I should have added "without the politics or he hates him scenario's" ..........
  3. Could get us around 3% (I know it won't happen) but that could be the difference in calling for an EGM. Be quite fitting us fans making that call if you like don't you think ..................
  4. I know mate I know. I guess I'm just more pissed off than anything and looking for ways which really can't happen. Be aswell just firing that cash into the Rangers Charity Foundation.
  5. I donated, I'm pretty sure I had to supply an email address in doing so. I'm no tech wizard but if I had a list of email addresses I'm sure there is a tool which could fire an email out to all of them and then sit back and see what the response is ........ obviously it would need manpower to deal with the responses. Infact I wonder if the email could contain a "confirmation to proceed/want money back" option and the results would all be there electronically .......
  6. Then lets start contacting everyone, even if only half reply in the meantime its still another step forward, and also being put to good use.
  7. Really? I thought there was a few hundred grand ........
  8. By seeking legal advice on EVERYTHING that has Ashley/MASH/SD on it. And I'd also like to see it turned into shares to over throw these cretins. I know it can't "legally" be used for shares but there MUST be a way of making that happen. I've read before that the cash will be used to help with the repairs around Ibrox etc when the time is right, I'm sorry but the time won't ever be right because the time to act is now. We may not have an Ibrox.
  9. The constant push by the RST for fans to buy shares is telling me that we don't have the required 51% for an EGM to be called. Edit: of which I will also be joining myself tonight.
  10. I didn't even know he was still with us ..................
  11. But it has to be our main aim. Any new board and/or manager better have the same goal.

Haha fair enough. But I do like McCann's enthusiasm and he comes across as he knows what he's talking about, I think an opportunity like a job at Rangers would bring a great deal out in him and I think he'd do very well in getting training bubbly (no laughing at the back). I guess we could sound out how he's done in his coaching role just now. He's also not been shy to say how rotten we've been. Numan I think could bring a fresh approach also and incorporate some Dutch pedigree into our systems. Obviously these guys wouldn't be pulling the strings or making final decisions but I think they could be good additions in a new setup.

In all seriousness the first thing they should do (after stabilising the finance etc) is start to remove the dead wood and the "jobs for the boys" mentality that's ingrained at us. Out with Jig, Black, Hutton, Shiels, Faure, Peralta, Smith, Daly ......... infact too many I can go on. And the coaching staff. Bring in someone to oversee the youth etc I'd like to see Arthur Numan and Neil McCann involved as coaches personally.

A new manger and three players before the beggars game please. Ok maybe I'm pushing it ...........
  15. Another hilarious aspect to their drivel is ............ What NEW club starts life with a transfer ban?
  16. Chris Graham has alluded to Magath speaking to the good guys ............
  17. I used to work with Davie Gowans, I remember seeing him sitting in the directors box with Green at the time he invested. Infact HE was the one who compiled that report that suggested a Cruyff type figure at Ibrox and Ally slaughtered it saying it came from an electrician (he isn't but started his own electrical engineering company). He sold 51% of his company I believe which gave him cash to invest. He was always a ST holder and was a good bear. I'm confident he would back the good guys. Edit: he must have sold as now doesn't appear on the updated lists.
  18. I should add from my earlier post that the EGM rumour from twitter has originated from Keith Jackson's Q&A where HE said (or guessed) himself that King would call for an EGM in the next 24/48 hours. I'm not sure if that was his sources or just his opinion. @NewcoTed tweeted him the question back "EGM within 24 hours" and I think that is where the speculation has derived from ................
  19. I'd agree bluedell. Apart from right now. If the percentages are as close as we think then I think the buying as much as they can is more important than saving admin costs or whatever.
  20. I'd like to see nothing held back, the fight is now. Spend whatever they have on shares right now.
  21. Had a look at the LSE today and noticed that there are numerous transaction that happen each day, albeit most are small. The largest that happened earlier today was 30k shares sold for a few grand. Are the RST and/or RF buying these small numbers? if not why not? Is it all about funds available ........ How and when do they buy?
